If I could leave zero stars I would. Do not buy anything from this store— the owner not only took my money for a hat order & never sent it to get made— but has been dodging my numerous attempts to get in touch with her to find out what happened with my hat. Or to just give me a refund for an item I never received. I ordered in June 2023 & it’s now December. NEVER RECEIVED THE HAT. Still can’t get ahold of her 6 MONTHS LATER. Run! Being dishonest, rude, and ghosting customers who paid for something they never received is no way to run a business. Do not buy anything from this store, she’s a swindler!

Got taken for a total ride with prices— overcharged for a very small item. When I finally got the receipt - it was texted to me a while later- the item I bought was charged under “custom amount.” Shoppers beware.

I normally don't leave a review for a business I have not been inside, but I make an exception here.Wasn't open during posted hours. Calls didn't ring and went immediately to a voicemail that was obviously a cell phone. Why? Can't you just keep it on so customers, looking to spend hundreds of dollars while on vacation, can get a hold of you? Or do you not care enough about your business?Locals tell me thay the owner is rarely open when advertised. Based on the conversations I had, it seems that they're a little too apathetic to be successful.

Google Maps says it opens at 11, but when I got there it was closed. I messaged the owner on Facebook and google and got no reply. I called and there was no info on business hours and I got voicemail. I went to their website and still got no info. No info was posted on their door. I waited for an hour outside and by 12 they were still closed. Such a shame because it was the main store I wanted to go to but I’m driving home today.

This store is a MUST! The person helping us today was so friendly and nice. It was by far favorite shop of the day. I got so many cool things and was able to bring my dog in and get him some cute things as well!

We waited 30 minutes after it was supposed to be opened and nothing. We were visiting so it was very unfortunate. We were hoping to get some gifts. There was no sign or anything. No voicemail saying they were closed.

Lots of cool stuff if you like Mexican folk art, vintage Western, and Texas culture. Staff is super helpful and friendly.

Not too much there and prices of sone things are just way too expensive. I suppose the owner is going for the tourist business. Also, probably the taxes are way high so needs to make up the cost somehow; just not from me.

I adore Ranch Candy. Eye Candy and Actual Candy. Excellent assortment of sweets. I never leave empty handed and I love that the shop supports and carries Texas made arts and crafts. I will definitely be back. Not to mention, the owner, is sweet as Candy.

I can count on Ranch Candy as a go-to spot. They frequently add new inventory, show me something new, and offer the best customer service. It's a guarantee for gift shopping (plus you can pick up something for yourself), and a guarantee for making my day.

I am seldom annoyed when places aren't open, especially in Marfa where this seems to be the normal condition of most businesses . However, when I call twice in advance to confirm that a shop is open, drive for thirty minutes to get there in order to spend $200, then wait an hour past the time I was told the shop would open, I conclude that the operators lack basic courtesy and / or have no interest in staying in business. Perhaps the shop is not what it appears to be, a reasonably funky and interesting mixture of sweets, vintage clothes and art, but is in fact a Situationist prank?
