Hoping for a bit more variety but the bettas are so beautiful.when I go back I will look better at variety. I do remember clownfish and starfish. Those were cute. Prices Abit on high side but maybe there's a great guarantee behind it.

Great services and a great little store. We found Eric to be a very caring and a wonderful owner. When we vacation, we take our 22 year-old Senegal "Sauvie" to him for boarding and also her trims. She never enjoys her trims, but tolerates it much more with Eric doing the work than another person in this world. She loves Eric and enjoys staying with him for weeks at a time. She even laid her first eggs while being border in Marble Falls last year. It's very hard to find high quality care for small birds. (Don't tell Sauvie she is a small parrot). Comanche Creek is our "go to" place.

Wow ! e I have been buying both freshwater and saltwater fish from Eric for some time. I have watched his mom Monte groom dogs while in the store and admired her work. Our groomer passed away and we tried several groomers and they did okay but not great. I decided to ask Monte if she would take my 3 Year Maltipoo Teddy in for a spa day. Double Wow ! He never looked so good. I highly recommend Comanche Creek for all aquatic , dog and cat needs. Eric and Monte are both super. T.J. McCann

I moved to Marble Falls about 2.5 years ago. I have been building freshwater aquariums for more than 45 years. I currently have 3 large aquariums in my home. I found Cherokee about a year after I arrived here. I will say that Cherokee is a small store, but it is packed with high quality fish and as an added bonus we have access to Eric, the owner. He is extremely knowledgeable, he can help you with any fresh and saltwater needs. Be sure to stop by. You will not be disappointed.

This place is great and always has been, I go here usually once every 2 weeks for fish food, fish, plants, etc. The knowledge that is presented by Eric is impressive and I’ve literally learned a lot by him. Unlike small chains around, he has a wide variety of freshwater fish that are very good quality; this is why I only go to him to get actual fish. Although I do wish that he would have more varieties of hardscape like rocks and larger driftwood pieces. Another great thing that he does is special orders, if you need a specific fish or even a plant he will make a special order for it! It’s amazing! The store is great for experienced aquarists and beginners alike. Support your local fish shop!

Nice small privately operated store! Great contrast in expertise and options to the large chain stores that have fish or supplies as a portion of a bigger business. The only reason I didn't rate 5 star is because some of the fish appeared to have ick, but it's treatable and given their general knowledge and care, I suspect these fish are already being treated. I didn't have the chance to speak to the staff about it as they were so busy with other customers when I was there. Highly recommend for both fresh and saltwater fish.

Well I have bought fish from this store a few times and all my fish are doing great. I had tried to do a Guppy farm for awhile and I was getting my fish from other stores and it didn’t work out most of them would die pretty soon after adding the fish and after doing tests on my water I found out it wasn’t my water. The fish I was getting weren’t in the best care when I bought them(meaning dirty water, toxins in the water that they were in before I got them….etc) so I started going here for fish and every fish I’ve gotten from here has been doing amazing. I finally got my Guppy farm going I had bought a endler male Guppy and two female Fancy guppies. About a week and a half ago I went to wake the fish up and when I turned on the light I finally got some baby guppies most of them look like there mother with only 2 that look like the father. Which made me very excited to have my first set of baby guppies.Thank you guys for having the better quality fish and resources for these fish I’m very excited to finally have started my Guppy farm.
