I had a seal break in a double pane E glass window in our home and was having trouble finding a nearby company with good reviews. Burnet Glass doesn't have many reviews but I trusted the 1 that I saw and left a message for them. They quickly returned my call and asked for me to text with the details and a photo of the window in question. They were not expected to be able to look at it for a few days but ended up coming the same day. Gave me a reasonable quote with complete info as to timeline and terms. The product came in right on time and the appointment was scheduled. After a rocky start to the install (all due to an issue on my side), they completed the job. Even though it took a lot longer than they anticipated, they stuck with the amount quoted.

The installation went well. I was happy that the installers were able to use the original framing around the windows!!! They very efficient and cleaned up well afterwards. I'm glad I have working windows! You have a great product!!!

Used them for a remodel and a few miscellaneous job. The only problem was one miscommunication on the glass size .

I called to inquire about window screen products and had to leave a voice message. The business immediately texted me that they were speaking with another customer at the time of my call. Subsequently, I received a text from the business, that they no longer sold that product. They were good enough to refer me to a business in Marble Falls, that does window screens, even sent me a website link! Although I did not experience actual product and installation, I did get very good attentive customer service! Well done Burnet Glass & Mirror!

This company is a complete joke! DO NOT CALL THIS PLACE! Read the other reviews - there seems to be consistent themes! Here's our story - We got a bid to replace 13 windows in our cabin on 9/2/2021. Some were fogged, but not all, but we figured we would go ahead and replace everything at one time. We paid a $500 deposit. We gave them chance after chance to complete this job, adjusting our schedules each time they tried to come out, taking off work, so we could be home. Each time they came out, they either showed up with cracked glass, no stops, blue colored glass, or not enough glass. The final straw was when we adjusted our schedule once again, at the beginning of March 2022 (6 months later), on a Monday, in hopes this time out they would finally finish the job. Guess what - They did not even show up or call to say they weren't showing up that day. I called and spoke to an office manager (Maria) Tuesday morning, the next day. She begged me to let them have another chance to finish the job. She told me they actually spent that morning inventorying everything this time, and were sure they had everything they needed. (too bad they did not do this the previous multiple times they showed up) She told me they would even give me a discount for my trouble if I let them finish. I told her okay, and we scheduled for that Friday to attempt to finish, but I had asked her to please call me that afternoon, and let me know about the discount (this was Tuesday morning). Tuesday afternoon rolled around, then Wednesday morning I left a message at 8 am, for her to call me about the discount (I definitely did not want any surprises in this department based on the track record of this company). By Wednesday at 1:30 pm, when she had still not returned my call, I left her another message stating that apparently they did not want to have another chance at the job, since it had been over 24 hours and she had not had enough common courtesy to call me back. I left message for her to take me off their schedule & send me my $500 prepaid deposit back, figuring this would be best at this point. When I still had not heard from her, I called back again, and asked to speak to the supervisor (Roger). After waiting on hold for over 20 minutes for him to pick up the phone, I tried calmly to explain everything that had happened, over the course of the last 6 months, assuming he was out of the loop of the details of his employees. I was honestly hoping, as the supervisor, he would make a plan and try to make things right, and we would give them the chance to finish. He told me that Maria had told him that I was refusing to let them finish the job. He also alluded to the fact that his appointment book was blank this past Monday, and it was odd to him that we were saying that no one showed up for an appointment...so, even though indirectly stated, he was accusing me of lying! By this time, I was very upset, basically screaming at him, and I told him the best thing he could do is give me my $500 deposit back, and we could both move on. When I told him I wanted my money back, he told me that his records indicated 2 of the 13 windows had been completed, so he was only going to give me $114 of my $500 deposit back. He failed to take into consideration, even after I tried to mention to him, (but he was constantly talking over me so that I could not get a word in edgewise), that another window they had installed was blue, and another was cracked. So yes, I do have 2 completed windows of the 13 attempts, but I also have a blue window and a cracked window, in addition, that I did not have before. Also, his crew had installed the rest of the 9 windows with no stops on appointment #1, which his guy had told me would all have to be busted out and replaced to be fixed correctly(on appointment #2). So now, instead of just replacing some foggy glass for looks, I am forced to replace everything because of this businesses' shoddy work. I have very rarely encountered a business with such horrible customer service and craftsmanship. And this job was just to r

Tried to get them to come give an estimate for glass on our custom windows. I left a message on a Friday. Called Monday afternoon to see if they got my message. I was told she hadn't even listened to her messages from Friday. She told me they were booked for estimates until the following Monday and would come out then. I called Monday afternoon at three thirty because I hadn't heard anything and she tells me she forgot to put me on the schedule and said they could come Wednesday. She calls me on Tuesday and says they have a scheduling conflict and would like to reschedule me for the following Tuesday...... who does business like this?? No way!! I'm looking to spend thousands in glass just to measure, order, and install and you can't even make it out?? Horrible customer service and clearly didn't care when I said to forget it and I'll take my business elsewhere. If I were the owner I would be embarrassed and there would be someone looking for a new job!!!! Pitiful.

Last review was 4/27, it's now 6/2 and I STILL do not have my windows replaced. This company is just plain slow, they work at a turtle pace. Sold my house and new owners are going to have to deal with these inept mental midgets. I paid in advance in hopes of getting better service.....stupid move on my part.

In 2019 we bought a new build house. After being in the house about 10 months we noticed the paint on the baseboard and door frame next to the shower blistering. I re-caulked the frame on the side and bottom. Thinking I had solved the issue I sanded and repainted the the baseboard and door frame of the toilet area. A few months later I noticed the baseboard and door frame paint again blistering. After contacting the builder I found out that the shower surround was bought at Marble Falls glass and Mirror and installed by them. I called them to see if they would come look at it and see what could be done to fix the issue. The lady on the phone said they would charge me $85 just to come look not including the fix which I think will take to be removed and reinstalled correctly. She said they only warranty for 1 year. So what she told me is that the warrant ran out before we moved in. Anyone who would not back their workmanship is someone I would not do business with.
