We took our new puppy to get her nails trimmed & buffed. They were able to do her nails right on the spot as a walk-in. They did a great job! 5☆

Great customer service. Very upfront with pricing and everything went super smoothly. Loved the Vet and assistants that helped with our 2 dogs. Truly amazing!

We’ve always had great service. The staff was so loving when we had to put down our Groot last Oct. Scheduling can be tough but just requires you to plan a little ahead.

Not understanding how this location has anything remotely close to 5 stars when it really should be closed down. This will be a long read, but it’s factual.First and foremost, this location couldn’t care less about your pets. The staff from their designated call center to their physical location located on Frontage Rd are inconsiderate, unprofessional and all about the money without actually delivering on the services. I have spent several thousands here and this place is a cesspool of false information and/or none at all. My pet means the absolute most to me and I have spent far too much money here for blanket statements and/or diagnosis, little to no information, and unfulfilled prescriptions for these diagnoses that they claim has to be fulfilled there.The last couple of months I had to get NECESSARY medication fulfilled and considering this place claims you can’t take the prescription elsewhere to be fulfilled, I had no choice but to deal with their delayed fulfillment. This place has gone weeks without fulfilling it because they don’t communicate in a timely fashion. The last and final straw with them was this most recent request for a prescription refill. I called a week ahead of time as disclosed on the prescription and called several times to follow up on the status because I didn’t hear from these people. An entire week went by and still nothing just for me to find out that the representative never passed the message along the first time and the only person able to fulfill this prescription was gone since the 18th without reason. This location didn’t care to inform anyone or anything yet claimed that a note was left about the prescription, but they couldn’t do anything about. So my pet had to go days without medicine that needs to be taken daily and not missed at all per their instructions; yet, they never fulfill on time?? Ridiculous! Then these people ignorantly suggested I wait until today (Tuesday the 25 from ; which was two more additional days) to hopefully get the medicine when the vet lady returns. Are you kidding me? Pathetic and still NO CALL!That’s like telling a human “hey we know you need this medicine, but sorry you have to fend for yourself and hope for the best.” To many of us, our pets are our babies and that’s also like telling a parent “hey we know your baby needs this lifesaving medicine, but we can’t do anything and you wait until X amount of days and hope for the best.” They had no alternative suggestions, no alternative pharmacies, absolutely nothing and they didn’t even bother to assist in trying to give a few days worth of emergency medicine until this lady returned.During this entire time, I found out that what they did was ILLEGAL. They illegally refused to provide emergency medication despite having an active prescription order with documentation that I am entitled to refills. They wouldn’t even provide my prescription at first and didn’t even know where I could go to get it refilled. This place should be shut down! There are better locations and if you want your pet to DIE feel free to come here. Waiting on these imbeciles I had to pay additionally money for another exam despite knowing what I needed because this entire state is full of nothing, but money hungry, price gouging people and businesses. After desperately calling around for several hours, I was able to finally get emergency meds. Never again.

Only took my cat here because I needed him to get checked out asap, since he went missing and came back the day before.The first Dr recommended so much stuff, obviously expensive (around $900 for radiographs??? That's insane! They charge not only for them to take the rads but also for a radiologist to examine these, couldn't the vet do it right there and then without the extreme cost???). I declined those, but I did accept two blood works (both around $150-$200).They said said the results would come in the next day. (Which was a Saturday) I messaged them Saturday and they said the lab was backed up, it'll be till monday to get the results. (I'm like ok, it's the weekend, I guess)Monday comes around, I called them. Nothing yet. Later that week I call them again. Had to wait for another doctor to call me back with the results (ok).She told me the results of one of the blood works and said she was gonna email me the results (which she didn't, cause I never received). She then tried to prescribe me antibiotics for my cat, but I told her maybe I'll wait to see how the other blood work came out. She said that one would be a week to get the results back (if I knew it would've taken over two weeks to get the results I wouldn't have done that tests?!).But anyways I still haven't received anything from them even tho I messaged them a few times.This was back in March.Cedar hill location's vet is so much nicer and actually messaged me back!!! (With another cat)

Everyone was friendly and willing to work with me with my 2 kittens. I scheduled both of them at 2 different times and was even running late for the 1st appointment and everyone there worked to make things happen and im really grateful to the whole staff for that.

Absolutely ridiculous location, if it wasn’t a convenient location I would go elsewhere. It’s always a problem every time I have to go here for whatever reason and all they do is charge, charge, charge for frivolous things, but can’t stay on top of major things. Never on top of anything, always have to remind them countless times to do something yet they won’t forget to take a payment. Never understood how as an alleged “vet” you could forget to fulfill a prescription that you were called a week prior to it being out, and nobody catches it. I could’ve sworn it was “first come, first serve.” Yet a matter you didn’t resolve a week ago falls secondary to your new schedule. Make it make sense. The calls are recorded, yet nobody will be held accountable so what’s the point? Training purposes? Doesn’t seem to be effective if someone can forget to completely fulfill a major prescription and all they offer is apologies. Incompetent and unprofessional location.

My original appointment was canceled without notice. I showed up and the associate didn’t even listen to what I was trying to tell her. I kept having to repeat the reason for my visit and then she tried scheduling me for something I didn’t even say. I finally got a correct appointment for another day and had to reschedule my work again. When I went to pick up my dog I was waiting for an extremely long time and didn’t get acknowledged by the same front desk lady. My following appointments were scheduled without consulting me either to see if those days work for me. This was the worst experience I’ve had at this location as i usually have no issues when the other front desk person is there. I will be finding a new vet once this treatment is completed.

Excellent service, vet took great care of my sick puppy, however spoke more than listened and expressed obvious dislike of breeding practices that developed my puppy's breed. I understand, however I was mildly disturbed to be on the receiving end of the "conversation". Lol, usually I'm on the other side. Unfortunately, I tried to get a "rescue" dog but the cost and difficulty dealing with the animal shelter encouraged me to go to a reputable breeder.

Vet staff is incredible. But the petco corporate scheduling system is putting my dog's life in jeopardy. She was diagnosed with heart worms. Staff did a great job in testing and taking care of a scared dog. But was told to come back in 10 days for a check up and more pills for her. No one scheduled it. Called to confirm and was able to get an appt within the 10 day window. It was cancelled. No other appt for days after my dog's pills will run out. Was told another location may not be able to access her file and may have to pay $100's for tests she's already received to be done again at a new location. NOT THE VETS FAULT but the corporate scheduling system is TERRIBLE. You can't communicate directly with a location and they cant share info across locations. If you have any serious issues with your dog's health go to a vet that doesn't have to deal with the corporate bs.

I was the first appointment in the morning and could tell the waiting room had not been cleaned from the day before. I did not like how my dog had to be taken to the back by herself to be examined but she was too scared they let me back with her. I was originally quoted a price and when I got there the price had tripled and I did not get the $25 discount for the first time visit. The vet seem to be very sarcastic and spoke to me in a way that she thought I was stupid. I was told they would be cleaning her ears for an ear infection but they were too scared to do it so they sent me with medicine and told me to do it myself and I was still charged. My overall experience was the receptionist was very friendly but the service was far below expectation and more expensive than they put off to be. I would rather pay a little more to go to a different vet

Been here three times. All three times were great. Now it’s time for my puppy to get her booster shot. They told me to come back on the 7th. Come to find out the lady never booked my appointment. Well that’s fine. Every one makes mistakes. But, my dog needs her booster, and they refused to squeeze me in. Now that’s the problem, not fixing your your mistakes.

As soon as I walk through the door it feels like family. The receptionist already knows who we are and my dog is always beyond happy to be there! This Vetco location is definitely top notch and I recommend them to everyone!

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I tried to exchange a collar that was too big for my dog. I didn't bring it back right away bc I was waiting until we needed more food to make it worth the trip. They said it was 2 days past their "new 30 day policy." The collar was not even taken off the cardboard and still attached. They refused to let me exchange it anyway. We spend over $500/month at Petco. When I told them we'll just have to start going to Petsmart, the "manager" replied, "Ok." Horrible people skills and customer service is an understatement! We will NEVER go back to a Petco bc of this! I hope everyone goes to Petsmart just to avoid Petco's unfriendly staff!!

I have been going to Petco grooming for years, apparently the managers have changed and they no longer want to cut older dogs. They have no issue taking my money for their Vital Care, then turning my dogs away. The manager Musica was so completely worthless!!! She did not try to deescalate the situation, just made it worse and lost a customer for life.
