“I recently gave birth to a baby boy and it was night and day from my first baby. When my 2.5 year old was born, the hospital forced us into so many things that we did not want. They woke us up every 2 hours or so doing their "protocols" and it left us all extremely stressed and overtired. With The Nest, I was able to choose to have the baby at home in water. The midwives rushed over when I was in labor and while I was out of the water, they pushed my hips together with every contraction taking the pain away. Lisa, my main Midwife, pretty much knew exactly how many contractions I had left based on the way I was responding to contractions and made me feel like I was a super hero for what I was doing. Once I got in the water, the pain was so drastically reduced and since they taught me Hypnobirthing, I was able to zone out and get through it easily. From the start of active labor to the baby being born it was only 3 hours! Once he was out they let the cord feed my baby for 10 minutes which was amazing for him. Something that was requested to my doctor and he refused with my first child. The midwives hardly took him away from me. They got me all taken care of down there, made sure he was nursing well, weighed him, etc and within a few hours we were all asleep peacefully in our own bed. They did a home check up a few days later following up continuously and were so well educated on everything. I can't say enough about these ladies!! I could have 100 babies this way with no epidural as long as I had the staff at The Nest to walk me through every step of the way again. Thank you girls for making this a dream delivery. I am confident that the reason why my baby is calm, barely cries, and sleeps well at night is due to the way he was brought into this world.”

In other locations you're just a number (that you receive by tapping on a screen) and have to wait for eternity, while the associates ignore you and keep doing their own thing. Only after you go up and remind them that you exist, do they go into action. But this place was so different. And Andrea made all the difference. How I wish Office Max hired more associates like her.
