"Caution: Stay away from Cash Plus Pawn at all costs! I purchased a gun from them, only to discover it was defective. When I tried to return it, they callously offered me only half of what I paid, with the intention of reselling the faulty item at full price to someone else. To add insult to injury, they also gave me the wrong magazine with the gun. As if that wasn't appalling enough, when I cleaned the gun, I found plastic on the inside that appeared to have been melted with a soldering iron in an attempt to hide the damage, jeopardizing the safety of the firearm. This blatant disregard for customer satisfaction and their shameless profiteering is despicable. Cash Plus Pawn's unethical business practices and lack of integrity make them unworthy of anyone's trust. Save yourself the frustration and avoid this deceitful establishment at all costs. Spread the word to others to prevent them from falling victim to the same mistreatment."

Staff is usually really awesome. I always recommend this place and even left the house today just to drive over and look at guns.Today when I got there I was greeted by the tall grey haired man.. I walked over to the guns and stood there looking and wasn't given the time of day. Another man walked up and was handed two or three guns to look at. I asked twice what the best deal they had on an AR was and was told, you just have to look through them. Couldn't read the tags from the counter.. finally decided if I wanted to see a gun I needed to be more assertive so I asked about a particular AR and the guy came and picked it up, looked at it himself and set it back on the shelf..... Pocket full of money and made a special trip over there and decided to just walk out.Just bought an AR22 there 3 weeks ago and today I guess I couldn't even spend my money if I wanted to. Guy seemed real inconvenienced by customers...

I wish I could give 0 stars. I went to pawn a couple of items because I was low on cash only to find out they sold one of my items then tried selling me back the other item for more than what they loaned me. I would not recommend them at all

If your gonna have a gun shipped to an ffl just get it sent to an actual gun store. They couldn’t keep track of my background check paperwork and had me standing around for 30 minutes while they searched for it only to have me fill out another one upon picking up my shotgun. Plus they tell you that you have to wait 6 days if your background check gets delayed, law only requires you to wait 3 business days.

Bought a guitar that was only missing a string, but when I took it to get it restringed, they told me that it was too damaged to do anything to it. I brought it back, and then they told me there were no refunds or exchanges. Place if a scam.

On 2/12/23, I saw a beautiful Rickenbacker Bass Guitar behind the counter at the Cash Plus Pawn at 2056 Hwy 157. I asked the clerk the asking price and he said, "$800". He handed me the guitar and the tag said $2,500. I told him he was mistaken and he said, "today's price is $800." I asked why and he said that the manager picks a few items each day and offers a special sale. He said "it was $2,500 yesterday and will be $2,500 tomorrow but today it's only $800." I purchased the guitar thinking I got the deal of a lifetime; they sell new for $3,500. Turns out it is a Chinese Fake. I called the manager and asked for my money back but they refused. I explained when I asked 3 times about why the price was so low, I was never told it wasn't a genuine Rickenbacker. The "best" he could do was give me half my money back if I returned the guitar. So I'd be out $400 (which is what it's actually worth.) What a scam. The manager said they had it listed in their paperwork as a Chinese Fake but my question is then, why was it tagged $2,500? Cash Plus Pawn was trying to scam someone. They only beat me for $400, which is the difference between what I paid and what it's worth so it could have been worse. But, they lost a customer. I love stopping by pawn shops and looking at the instruments. I've purchased 4 guitars, a drum set and a keyboard since moving to TX two years ago. Not the best customer but not the worst. Be careful when going to this place.

After years of business and never pushing back, I am left with a broken heart! I felt at home even when I didn't feel like a winner! I left my prized piece to my gun collection with them and got it back completely rusty and mag full of liquid, and was completely beat out of compensation for my loss of something that is no long available! They are trained to make you feel like they have your back but they're just in it for your money. Will never be back ?

Used firearms priced higher than new. The man behind the counter was courteous about being called out on selling a used Ruger 10/22 for $375. He offered to price match, a new in-stock Ruger 10/22, so the pic is posted below. His used rifle isn't worth as much as a new one, so I don't know why he would offer to match the price. Maybe someone else benefits from paying more for used.If you happen to consider purchasing a Taurus G2C pistol, you can buy one new, in-stock, from Academy for ~$270.00. I believe this store charges more than $300 for used. The store was clean, filled with inventory, and the staff was courteous.
