Because of the way our car was starting, we decided to get the battery checked at AutoZone. We got there at 8:30 p.m., and the associate there checked the battery, verifying that it was no good. She recommended which battery to buy to replace it, but we were told by the manager that it was too late for them to replace it since they were about to close. They told us to come back the following day. This was somewhat understandable, but I had a feeling that our car wasn't going to start the next morning. The next morning, the car wouldn't start, so we jump-started it with our neighbor's car and drove back to AutoZone. At this point, my wife and I were both running late to work and wanted to get the battery replaced as soon as possible, so that we wouldn't get stranded anywhere. I walked in and explained the situation, and the associate there rudely said, "We can't replace the battery. It's cold." I, trying to process what she just said, asked, "You can't do it in the cold, or you just don't want to go out in the cold?" It was because she didn't want to go out in the cold to do her job. She also mentioned that they were short-staffed as an afterthought, but I could see at least three people within my line of vision. I was confused and frustrated. We then drove to Advance Auto Parts, where they were extremely helpful and replaced the battery right away. I later called AutoZone and spoke to a manager about this employee's conduct, which I hate to do, and he said that he would address it with her as a learning experience. I have to say that I'm pretty disappointed that I can't count on the AutoZone that's right down the street from my house, especially in an urgent situation like this one.

Hard to give Autozone 5 stars but I’ve been working on a persistent brake problem and they hung there with me to get it resolved.

Today was my second time going to this store for a new battery (for two different vehicles). Both experiences, the staff was extremely helpful and efficient. Today I experienced above and beyond what I would expect for service. My deployed husband’s car battery had died and when they went to change it we noticed serious corrosion on the terminal. Both Josh and Rob did a phenomenal job finally getting the battery to connect, allowing me to be able to start my car. Not only were they extremely kind and helpful to me, they said to make sure I passed along their thankfulness for his service. I will continue to go back to this store for all of my auto parts needs, because of the customer service. Every single employee has always been courteous to me, during any of my trips.

I want to say thanks to the staff of Auto Zone on Canon Drive in Mansfield. My wife and I were in Mansfield for a Dr. appointment when the car would not start. I knew immediately it was the battery. Roadside Assistance got it jumped and we made it to the store. But there was so much corrosion the terminals broke apart when they tried to loosen them…. Instead of leaving me to fix it myself they not only disassembled the battery harness, one of the guys knew a mechanic down the street and he sent the seized up part to him to loosen it up…. Got the part back and the guys re-assembled everything, installed the new battery and we were off. We are really thankful for all they did that really went beyond what i could have expected! Filled my tank then my check engine light came one. Went in to have a code checked or even to buy the machine to do so; not helpful. The older blonde lady was smirking and rude. Left for another location.

A young man who I believe is named Joshua assisted me. He was very professional and a breath of fresh air considering how bad customer service has gotten with many places over the last few years.I asked his age as I told him a short story while he was helping me with selecting and connecting the new wipers on my son's car. He is 20 yet seems a mature twenty. The price of the wipers was good, too. This store is in a great location!

Alastor H wasted 4 hours of my time today. Instead of just replacing the battery covered under warranty she sold me a battery charger and told me to go home and charge it.I bought it but spoke of my experience to my husband and we went to a different auto zone instead. Where that store manager replaced my under warranty battery and returned the battery charger that I didn't need.What a frustrating experience

Jose Ortiz help me with my battery was too corroded to the point it made it almost impossible to change the battery he was awesome he went the extra mile to help me get back on the road i really appreciate his service in taking care of customers I highly recommend him!!
