Pretty bad when you have to tell the self checkout person how to load a gift card. Especially after having to wait unnecessarily while she was spending time with a non business conversation with the deli person, instead of helping a paying customer, even though I told her I had to purchase the gift card. Not to mention holding up the line for everyone else waiting. This girl needs some serious retraining, unless this is the new way Brookshires treats customers.

Of course Brookshire isn't the cheapest place in town but they are very reasonable I think they have better service I think their products they sell are in better shape than other food marts in town check them out they've even got a great launch In a clean place to do business

Best price on gas from Ft.Worth to Athens and perhaps even further. Lady working at the gas station was very nice and helpful.

This grocery store is clean and well cared for. It’s about the only option for grocery stores in the area, but it’s pretty good. Not a huge store, but will have just about any grocery you could need. The staff were friendly and helpful. Prices are a bit high, but considering the relative remoteness and lack of other competition nearby, it should be expected.

My husband had came up here to buy me and my daughter chocolate covered strawberries for Valentine’s Day .he came home only to find out that they were rotten. they literally exploded in me and my daughter’s mouth as we were eating them. we ended up throwing them up .I then went back up to the Brookshire’s to complain and get a refund but was instead met with a employee because there was no manager ,and was told to get another one and she immediately left to the back. She gave me no time to say I needed a refund she just turned around told me to get another one and left. so I decided just to give it another chance. I open the package smelled it and it smelled fine .when I got home I put them in the freezer so that they wouldn’t be as melted .an hour later, me and my daughter tried to eat them and was once again met with sour nasty rotten strawberries. so disappointed ,I don’t see the knowledge behind keeping chocolate covered strawberries out all day on a table knowing they need to be in the refrigerator. wasted $10 on nasty rotten fruit thank you.
