Sherwood Academy is an excellent school and child care center. Our children attended both the young child care programs as babies and toddlers, and also the private elementary. The leadership, teachers and staff are very loving and caring. Class sizes are small and teachers are able to focus on individual student needs. I cannot say enough great things about the Sherwood Academy. Highly recommend.

UPDATE: Kids are still loving it here after a year. Simply put... THIS PLACE IS GREAT!We LOVE this place! Our kids started here a few weeks after the school year, and the staff and administration has been so helpful and accommodating! They moved mountains to get our kids in and feeling at home in no time. Our 4 and 2 year old both love it here and can’t wait to go each morning, and come home telling us about their day smiling ear to ear each night. Couldn’t be happier with Sherwood!

I cannot express how amazing Sherwood Academy. Our kiddo went to their incredible summer camp this summer and he came home each day with so much joy from a day filled of activities. Our son has disabilities and finding confident loving staff has always been an issue, but not here. They are beyond accommodating and truly love all kids. Thank you for being an inclusive school with open hearts. You made all the difference in the world for our child. Thank you!

Our son loves going to this school! The crafts they bring home are so creative. Staci Mayhill always answers any questions or concerns and keeps you informed on schedules or events. Mrs Haley our sons teacher seems extremely involved in her work and loves children. Lastly they have done a great job promoting a safe environment in these hard times for kids and families.

Both of my children attend Sherwood. Schools with this caliber teacher are few and far between. Their kind and consistent approach to education and child care is top notch. The owner is proactive and the campus immaculate. No agenda here other than taking good care of the kids.

If you're considering a private school experience for your child, you need to consider Sherwood. Our child is currently attending and loves going to school every day. She's constantly bringing home crafts and homework that look fun and engaging. And the teachers we've met seem to be extremely engaged and happy in their work. It feels like what a school should be like. They provide an all week program (unlike other private schools). Their rates are more reasonable than other private schools. Their perspective on constantly improving and formulating their curriculum to best teach their students is how education should work. Attendance is up to 6th grade I believe. Honestly not sure why this place isn't bigger than it is.

My 3 year old has been at Sherwood for 1 year now and we love it! Staci the owner takes great care in everything she does. Teachers are top notch and feel very much like a family here. You will not be disappointed!

The infant care was amazing, I couldn't ask for better. If the school wasn't closed so much for the summer we definitely would have stayed.
