Dr. Scott, as well as the staff, are all knowledgeable and helpful and friendly. They are very kind and patient with my extremely anxious puppy.

I have brought my 2 dogs and bearded dragon here for a few years. Last Monday, I called around 3:15pm with an emergency with my dog. Since they NEVER answer the phone, I left a voicemail. At 3:30, I still hadn’t heard back so I called again.. finally got someone. She said that I could bring him but I would be charged an emergency fee and that taking him to an emergency clinic may be cheaper. I trusted her, as I though I should, being my veterinarian’s office. She gave me a place and a phone number and said she believed it would be less and said she thought their visit fee was $95. So, I took my dog to the “cheaper” option. Well, not only is their visit fee $125(more than this place would have been), the testing was $1500 vs probably $500 (based on my previous estimates for bloodwork) which is well over what I would have been charged at paws to claws and they probably would have caught the issues in time to save him! Instead, they were being lazy and didn’t want to work late! The next morning (Tuesday) since I couldn’t afford the testing at the urgent vet, I called them as soon as they opened. It took me 2 times of calling before someone answered. This time she brushed me off saying that the Dr had surgery all day and couldn’t see my dog. Had they not brushed me off the night before, he may have been saved!!!I did find an amazing vet that took my dog immediately and did everything they could for him, but it being about 18 hours after I made the initial call to paws to claws - they didn’t succeed. I do not blame them, I blame paws to claws for not caring about their patients, only time time clock and the money!Paws to claws doesn’t care about your pet, they only care about closing time. This new vet not only made time for my sick boy right away, but also made time to get my little girl checked the day after my big boy died. While they don’t treat reptiles, I’ll find a vet who actually cares about their patients to take my reptile! The urgent clinic they referred me to even called and checked on my pup... paws to claws did not and they were his regular vet! Again, they don’t care about the animals, they care about the $$$$!Aside from them brushing me off when my dog was sick, I get an awful lot of emails stating “office closure” and “doctor off premise”. Most of which are the same day, meaning the Dr just wants to leave early. The Dr always seemed kind of rude to me.Also, as I mentioned above, if you call, be prepared for the phone to not be answered, to leave a voicemail and never be called back.If you read this and still want to use this clinic, best wishes to you and prayers that your animals never get sick!!

I took my bearded dragon here because she broke her toe and therefore they casted her foot. Once her cast was taken off the toe that WASNT broken turned black and stiff. I followed the exact instructions they gave me with the cast and kept it on for the 10-14 days, monitoring swelling around it, and pain medication. Now my bearded dragon is having more issues with her foot than we began with. Which is soon going to us having to amputate it. (The casting left her with 3 layers of stuck shed which is now more layers even after baths, extra rough surfaces, lightly scrubbing her foot with a soft toothbrush, etc)As well they did not show us how to administer pain medication to her either which was I believe 60$ on top of the 120$ wellness check. The workers are very nice but I will not be coming back here for any of my exotic pets. There’s the before the cast, with the cast, and as of today without the cast.

Paws to Claws has cared for my fur babies for the last 7 yrs. Always very willing to get us right in. I have an ancient Chihuahua and 2 elderly guinea pigs that have thrived under their care. Couldn't ask for a better veterinary. They even inquired after myself when I had a surgery, to be sure all was well. Real people, with real hearts.

The staff is super friendly and it's obvious they are knowledgeable and love what they do. We have received great service for our puppy's spay and vaccinations. Our questions are always answered, and we really like the updates sent to our email to keep us informed on when our pup needs care.

Dr. Suzanne Scott was polite and professional. She did a very through exam with the help of a skilled technician. Her manner was calm and my slightly neurotic dog responded well to her gentle handling (I always let my animals tell me if the vet has a genuine fondness for animals). Her diagnosis was practical in that xrays were suggested, but not essential at the time, allowing me to decide. Her rates are fair - in line with other vets in the area. I highly recommend her.

Attentive, diligent, dependable and pleasant - these folks are taking excellent care of our menagerie of fowl, and we would trust them with any of our animals. They're well worth driving an extra half hour out of our way, and I could not recommend them more, or say enough good things about the care they provide. If you love your animals/pets as much as I do, and you need to know they're being cared for in the best possible fashion, I urge you to come to Paws to Claws. You'll know immediately you made the right decision ?♥️
