“First off, I want to say I've been doing business with these guys for a very long time. My experience with them has always been great. I have purchased items from them and have also gotten several loans with them. I can say without a doubt that they will never take advantage of your situation and offer you less simply because you're in a tight spot, like most Pawn/Resale shops will try to do. I want to speak on my most recent experience though. I purchased an item from them that had been in storage for quite a while before I came along and purchased it under their layaway program, which is a great deal by the way, and after paying the item off I took my purchase home only to discover that due to a common issue with the original manufacturer all of the batteries that came with the item would not charge. This is due to them going into hibernation mode for a long time. I have no doubt the batteries were in good working condition originally when they took it in because they are very thorough on their testing and inspection of all of the products they purchase or hold as collateral. So after returning to the store to get clarification on something unrelated I mentioned the issue with the batteries and without hesitation they offered to replace the batteries or I could return the item. Keep in mind I never express any dissatisfaction, they simply felt obligated to make it right, I even felt someone uneasy as I do plenty of business with them and they are always more than fair and although I wasn't thrilled about the batteries not working, I didn't feel as if it was their fault in any way and due to their prior generosity I wasn't too concerned about it. But they insisted and after looking up the replacement price of the batteries, which were not cheap, they refunded me enough money to purchase new batteries including shipping and taxes. I thought it was important to share my experience because I figured it's the least I could do for a local business that has done so much for me with this incident and in the past. Believers Pawn is Christian owned and operated and I can testify that!

“Jake was very nice in helping me figure out what was due since I had a few items there pawned on different dates. However, this is the 2nd or 3rd time I've noticed how hot it is in there. The a/c is not working and I noticed the thermostat was 83° with outside Temps at 102°. They have to be very dedicated to work in that climate. It was too hot for me to be in there for the 15-20 minutes I was there. Please fix the a/c!”
