I want to tell you about the experience I had with tip top auto off of Main Street. I actually had got on here asking for recommendations for someone who could work on the ac for my infinity and a couple people recommended him, must have been relatives. I initially took my car to tip top to get ac fixed. It would blow on and off at random. It appeared to freeze up. We left the car there and after $700.00 we took the car. I had to drive the car to Corsicana that night it was very cold. The heater did not work not blowing, exact reason I took to him in the first place. I called him and told him it wasn’t working and he told me to bring it back in. I did that and while we were there he looked under dash and said the part (a door opening and shutting under dash causing it not to blow) was a faulty part. He re-ordered a new one and I brought it back to replace. I drove it off his lot onto Main Street and it wasn’t working so I called him immediately. He told me to bring it back in he THOUGHT he knew what it was. I would have taken it somewhere else then but already in for $700.00 so took it back to him. Went in there today and he showed me a picture under the dash and said there was some red grease that shouldn’t be there and said I had someone else working on it. I told him no one else has worked on it. Why would I do that knowing I had him working on it and out 700.00 already and why didn’t he mention that the first or second time we took it to him? He again said I had someone else working on it and when I again said no one else worked on it, he called me a liar. He talked about an arm or something not working. I was really upset after he called me a liar but kept my cool and asked him what he was talking about to fix it and he said 2,000.00. We walked out. My husband and I were talking and we should have known that after being there 5 times he never had another car there and now we know why. I come on Facebook and give great reviews for great jobs done by people around the lake but I also want it to be known when a bad job was done. I was insulted by a man who called me a liar and not standing behind his work. Again if what he said was true why didn’t he mention that the first or second time I brought it to him since he said took pictures the first time I brought it in. In addition, why didn’t he recognize the supposed problem the second time instead of saying it was a faulty part? Very shady. Just want people to know who not to take your vehicle to. I am also contacting the bbb

I already reviewed this place and they deleted it somehow.The so called mechanics destroyed my vehicle and lied to my creditor when I disputed the charge. I have a folder with all of the evidence. They will lie in response to this review.Their all crooks. Do not use TIP Top. They are terrible. Even the person at Gun Barrel City Hall said they ruined his vehicle.
