We had the lift installed 6 months ago and only wish we would have done this sooner. It is so convenient for carrying furniture, groceries and whatever else instead of lugging this up two flights of stairs. The lift works perfectly and the installation could not have been better. We are extremely pleased with this purchase.

I don’t even know where to begin. Over a month ago our lift malfunctioned and went past the limit switch. It is now wedged and unusable. Called Legacy and they sent us to their Galveston Guy. After calling and calling and finally calling Legacy again, we finally got someone out to look at it — 3 weeks later. He said he had to order a part and would be out the next week. Sounded promising. NOPE! Her we are another 3 weeks later and no one is returning our calls. We have a disabled person in the house that can’t physically carry things up and down stairs and we can’t even use the lift. 6 weeks so far. WTH?!?!

I’m leaving a one star review because I’ve reached out to legacy lifts without any response. I called again today and was told they don’t know when someone will call me back. Possibly 24-48 hours. I advised the receptionist that I’ve already waited that long and more. This is what we need to finalize our bid. The contractors are waiting for this to determine our final cost. The lift is all we need and legacy isn’t looking to great at the moment with their unresponsiveness. I asked the receptionist to let a sales person know. It didn’t sound promythat she would relay my message with a sense of urgency. I’ll update my review based on the timeliness on receiving a response. If I get one. As well as what I learn from them.

I cannot believe my husband and I waited so long to make this investment. I can’t imagine life without our lift. Everyone was so nice and professional. This place is family ran and they pay attention to their customers. Make sure you speak with ms. Hannah! She will take care of you. Thank you legacy lifts!!!

I had no clue how easy it was to get one of these installed. Very impressed. The girl in the office (hanna? or Anna?) and the guys are easy to work with and no bs ..which is hard to come by in companies this day in age.

Had residential lift installed Jan,2020. Everything went well until remote malfunctioned and had to be replaced. Today limit switched malfunctioned and over shot landing by almost 2 feet. Don't know what would have happened if I hadn't stopped lift with wife on it. I was assured by installer it would have stopped. Also though in warranty electrical parts are covered first year but not installation. Ridiculous. Bad parts should always be covered 1st year. Also any communication with manufacturer is not answered but rather sent to installer. Lone Star lifts did a decent job of installing the lift but the actual manufacturer Legacy Lift is not professional for not answering my questions. Picture shows when limit switch breaks.Update - 2 months ago tony from lone star lifts came out to repair. Have not had any problems since.

This is my 2nd review of Legacy Lifts. My previous talked about a faulty upper limit switch. Well the limit switch failed again. This will be 3 bad switches in 2 years. This problem needs to be addressed to the manufacturer not the installer. Evidently the parts used are defective and suggest anyone think about legacy lift think twice before purchasing. If I get a satisfactory remedy from manufacturer I will be happy to update my review. Until then buyer beware.
