Deceptive business practices. Tried to charge me $2000.00 to replace multiple components that are in good condition. Those replacement components would not have resolved the problem. Another reputable shop fixed the problem for $130.00. Use this business at your own risk. Have another reputable shop check your vehicle before trusting Lumberton Offroad technicians.

I wasn’t going to leave a bad review but recently realized on top of all the issues I had with LOR last year my carrier bearing drop that I paid for including labor was never installed. LOR messed up so much stuff on my truck I had to bring it to BTS Customs to get redone. BTS Customs went above and beyond to help me out with correcting LOR’s mistake. Ordered a simple 4” BDS lift kit with Fox shocks, BDS radius arms, dual steering stabilizers, adjustable front track bar, and carrier bearing drop for my 2016 Ram 3500 from them at the beginning of the pandemic around March or April 2020 trying to support a local business. I had all the suspension powder coated and dropped off the brand new wheels and tires. They performed the install and told me they couldn’t align the truck that I would need to take it somewhere to have it done because they let the alignment guy go that day. I was refunded the money for the alignment. I drive my truck home and then the next morning to the alignment shop that they said they talked to for me. Alignment shop says they can’t perform the alignment because of my wheels. I start inspecting everything while at the alignment shop and realize they installed one of my front coil springs upside down, they impacted the steering stabilizer bracket so tight that it bent and damaged the powder coat, front stabilizer bar was hitting the steering stabilizer bracket, and my rear inner tires was rubbing the leafsprings. I bring it back to them and tell them it was obvious my truck was rushed and they need to make it right. They remove the damaged parts and give them back to me to have the powder coat redone which they paid for. I bring the parts back to them and they reinstall everything and also aligned the truck this time with no charge. They added some 1/4” spacers behind my wheels to give them some clearance. I inspected the parts and areas that had issues and they ensured me that they went over everything. I drive home about 20-25 minutes from the shop. I get home and notice a big mark on my radius arm. After closer inspection I notice that the tire has rubbed all the way thru the powder coat on both radius arms. I call the shop and explained to them what happened with the radius arms. They immediately turn it around and say how do we know you didn’t do it. I should have went over everything again before I left but I literally have to make 5 turns from their shop to my house and I never once felt it rub. He admitted that they moved my truck around every day pretty much and there is a good possibility they done it. I then had custom offset 8-10 lug adapters made to offset the wheels enough to clear. Once I got those they installed them and verified probably for the first time that there weren’t any clearance issues. We then discussed the issue with the radius arm powder coat being damaged. At first it was all on me. Then they came back and said they would remove the radius arms, reinstall them for me but I would have to pay a couple hours labor and pay for new bushings and to have the power coat redone. I called BTS Customs which is who LOR sent me to for my tires because they said they have them mount their dually tires on semi wheels. I explained what all had happened and BTS offered to help me out with labor. I got so mad at LOR going back and forth I picked up my truck and paid BTS to go over everything and fix all the issues. I was without my truck a total of about 3-4 weeks for a two day job and ended up having to bring my truck to BTS to pay and have it redone.

I had an issue with my 2018 Duramax riding rough and leaning to the left. I took it to another offroad shop and they said I had to replace my entire lift kit. When I took it to Zack at Lumberton Offroad, he showed me that my torsion key bolt was broke. They fixed it and reset my ride height. My truck rides smoother now than it ever has, and he saved me alot of money! Highly recommend this shop.

These guys are outstanding! I called them about my Amp Step on my 2015 Silverado. Told them I did not have much time due to my badass kids. Got there at 1245pm out at 105pm. No cost and no hassle. I will recommend these to any and everyone.
