I popped in about 7:30 tonight to get a few things. The clerk was on the phone engaged in a personal call ignoring me as I stood at the counter. When she finally decided to walk over. While she was still talking on the phone she grabbed what I had and scanned it and said that will be this much. I said I need a few other things. She rolled her eyes and got what I asked for while continuing a personal conversation that was clearly no emergency. I asked her if her manager allowed her to talk on the phone in front of customers. She said yes. And sarcastically said have a great day and dont drink and drive. Decency and respect is not too much to ask. I'll be glad when they open the new gas station next door. I'm done with shell. Pumps broken and out of gas. Water ankle deep and rude service.

If you go into the Big Thicket store in Lumberton, count your change. I went in, total of my purchase was $6.48, gave the girl a 20 and got $12.52 back. I asked "how much was that again?", She proceeded to slowly wad my receipt up and say "your change was $12 and some change". I started counting out LOUD "total was $6+ change, SEVEN with change, EIGHT with this one, NINE..." She stopped me there and handed me a dollar coin. I walked out warning everyone to count your change. How much does she make on the side doing this???

The women that work in there andare above and beyond nice and helpful. It is also very clean with a large selection.

7 11 type store. Limited selection no the best prices around but gas prices are decent
