They only checked what I asked them to check and gave me an estimate on repairs before doing anything. I've put off the repairs until payday and they didn't try to pressure me into doing them right away. I'm on a tight budget and appreciate them understanding that. I'll be going back for sure!

In need of a 295/80/ 22.5 tire on my Freightliner cascadia 126, called several class 8 truck tire places. None has this tire. They had the tire, but the kicker is 1st axel wheel was damaged, they had a wheel as well. It was white, and my wheels are black, American Racing. They primed it and painted it black. I was in and out in less than 45 minutes. It all cost me less than anywhere else. I’m very impressed with by experience. Been using discount tire for years. They have a new loyal customer. Just not happy with the curve I hit due to cars not getting out of my way. I learned a valuable lesson.

Was in a time bind and called Cook’s emergency service. Told them where I was at and was told a truck would be in its way. Truck passed me and didn’t stop. I called the person back and he said the truck driver would call me. Never called. Never came. I changed the flat myself and text the person to not send the truck. “Okay”. No apology. Will never use them again.

I would like to give an excellent rating to Cook Tire. We were on our way back home from a family emergency and hit a tire in the middle of the road. The tire blew out my car and another car at the same time. This very kind man called Cook Tire for us, and they were there very quickly. The specialist that came out, Kevin, was so nice, he had both our cars fixed so quickly. Thank you so much!

A while back I went to Cook Tire to have my tires checked.
I am disabled , use a cane .
The young ( 20’s-30 yrs) man at the check in desk told me drive around back and someone will take care of you”.
I went there because I was told Cook Tire is good, and good service.
Telling an older lady walking crookedly with a cane to go back outside, drive around back isn’t being courteous to a customer.
The 2 young men in the office area were discussing a friends new truck.
A mechanic( 50’s-60’s) heard the discussion and said he’d drive my car around.
I never went back.
Their work I understand is good.
But younger employees need help with courteous service.

Six weeks ago, I brought my semi in for a 3-axle alignment, because it was pulling to the right. After they aligned it, it stilled pulled to the right; so, I had it aligned at a TA Truckstop, and their job was a success. Also, the same day (6 weeks ago),I bought 2 steer tires, at Cook Tire in Lufkin, they were to mount and balance. Later, my Steering wheel was still shaking, so I went to a truckstop. The tires, purchased at Cook Tire still had old weights/no new weights… and were not balanced. At Cook Tire, in Lufkin.. I also had a low tire, they were to fix… all they did was air it up.Eventhough Cook Tire is close to home, I will not be back for repairs. I only gave 1 star so I could leave a review.

Kevin just sent a truck out to fix the tires on my Dad's golf cart. He is retired and needs it these days to get around on his place. Thanks Kevin for getting this handled quickly for us. We really appreciate it!

Just a swell group of guys. They stayed late to do a tire repair for me and even tried to let me leave without paying! Makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside!
