I’m a creature of habit, I’ve been taking my dog. For years there even after some dubious diagnoses, but no more, if you decided to go there make sure you bring your AMEX Black. I should have listen years ago. Reviews don’t lie.

If you want to feel like your time don't matter, this place is for you!! I'm the only one here and I have been sitting here for a hour. They have done nothing but sat there talking to each other.

Took my bunny in because one of his eyes were clouded. Gave him antibiotics and eye drops. $500.
Took him to another vet and they immediately figured out it was a cataract. (Lone Star vet) The eye drops were deemed useless and I found out I wasted my money. If I were to describe this vet clinic I’d say incompetent and useless. Why was a tech having to figure out what was wrong with my bunny? I paid for the services of a veterinarian. Dont take your animals here, it’d be better just to schedule an appointment with another vet. I know this place’s appeal is walk ins, but they’re utterly useless when they can’t even figure out what’s wrong with your animal.

If you're animal is a family member that you love don't Carry them there. They don't want to hear what I have to say about them. I would probably be in jail. Money hungry nothing to do with loveing animals. It pisses me off that they didn't care to do any blood work on a 15 year old dog that was everything to me. Before they nurtured him. He had been doing just fine until after getting that done. Stopped eating lost weight and now gone. Wish they would have explained the risk vs the benefits. After his complications he had a level 6 heart murmer and needs heartmeads after they decided to do blood work.that I had to pay for also. I could have put all that money on something that he really could use. He didn't have to be neutered as much as the medicine he needed. I would have never put him threw all that if I would have known before hand. They can say what ever they want but I know that they are just for the money. If I needed help and they was the only place then I would just rather die. Because I feel dead that I let them care for my boy. Bugger. Love you buddy you will always have my heart with you. And it may say Cindy on the paper work so don't tell me that you can't find my files.

We had to bring in a kitten on weekend . The vet tech was fabulous and understanding . Unfortunately the kitten had to euthanize. The service and staff here were very helpful . Highly recommended

The staff are not nice at all. Every time I use this vet, I kick myself. I would never bring an animal here if it were truly in need of care. In fact, I have brought animals in the past who should have been fine, only to lose them at this vet due to mistakes made at this vet. My husband recently took our bull for fertility testing. Called to get copies of the results and had to deal with one of the super rude techs. She said, did you bring this animal?? Or your husband?? Because if he brought the bull then I will need to contact him directly to ask him if it's okay for me to even release the results to you. I could see her rude head bobbing over the phone. I tried to tell her about Jesus and asked her if she was having an okay day. She told me if I love Jesus I need to stop judging her. It's just exhausting dealing with them. I don't understand the rudeness from this place. They are just miserable. It always comes from the top. Hopefully the reviews will inspire change. But if this review doesn't inspire change at least maybe it will relieve another person like myself from dealing with people who are so incredibly rude. I just don't understand. It's like they are just waiting to bite your head off, and for no apparent reason. Just to be rude. It's beyond me. All she had to do was ask to speak to my husband and he would have been on the phone. But I think she felt some kind of power by telling me off and hanging up on me before I could say anything else nice to her. It's like nice people are just pouring hot coals over their heads at this vet. It will be my last trip to this vet, no matter what.

If I could leave negative start I absolutely would. My experience with Angelina Animal Hospital was beyond disappointing. I called ahead to bring in a sick stray cat to be put down, and instead of providing the compassionate service I expected, they proceeded to take advantage of the situation and disregard my explicit instructions.
Upon arrival, I made it clear that I did not authorize any examination as I simply wanted to euthanize the cat and did not wish to incur any unnecessary fees. However, they completely disregarded my request and proceeded to conduct an unauthorized examination, claiming they needed to "weigh her." This so-called examination resulted in them deeming the cat not sick, despite obvious symptoms such as crust coming out of her nose. When they clear symptoms presented an upper respiratory infection.
Despite my insistence that I did not want an examination and my clear intention to euthanize the cat, they proceeded to charge me a hefty $65 examination fee. When I questioned their decision and pointed out the cat's symptoms, their response was callous and unhelpful, suggesting I take the cat to the shelter instead.
To add insult to injury, upon Opal's suggestion, who called ahead and made arrangements with the animal shelter and told me they were expecting me and be able to take the cat, and not to worry that by the end of the afternoon the cat would end up back at their office from the shelter receiving the care that the cat needs and ready for adoption. I made the trip to the shelter only to find out that they had misled me. The shelter was closed and not accepting any animals, leaving me stranded and out of pocket for an unnecessary examination fee.
Overall, my experience with Angelina Animal Hospital was characterized by incompetence, dishonesty, and a complete lack of compassion. It's appalling that they would take advantage of someone in need and neglect to provide the basic care and support that both animals and their owners deserve. I would strongly advise anyone considering their services to proceed with extreme caution, as their actions demonstrate a complete disregard for the well-being of animals and the trust of their clients.

Wait a minute, I've been reading all these reviews and Dr. Linsey Sylar seems the one name that keeps coming up. Is she the vet of this dog and pony show? I Never met this person who I'm assuming operated on my dog who passed away a day later. She has yet to reach out to me and give me an explanation as to whether or not he had cancer. I guess the lab results are kept Top Secret. I'm going to end it here for now I'm still mourning the loss of my dog and trying to keep my dad from falling into depression. I will update you yelpers at a later time there is a more to this dog and pony show. But for now please if you live in the area or surrounding areas keep on driving past deaths door that is Angelina Animal Hospital.

We came in yesterday with a chicken that needed to be euthanized. We have had vets before help us with this process when there was no hope for recuperation for our birds. We thought Angelina Animal Hospital would help us as well. And they would, for an astronomical fee. They quoted us $170 to euthanize a chicken. ONE HUNDRED SEVENTY DOLLARS TO EUTHANIZE A CHICKEN! I simply have no words. They are in business to make a profit, I do understand this, but this is off the charts extreme. Fortunately for our bird's sake, a different vet was more reasonable. He charged us $40 once before, but today, he offered his service for nothing and put our poor bird out of her misery. Thank you to this gracious vet.

I've had very good service and compassionate care. One of my dogs is a rescue and terrified of the vet. She hid in a corner when it was time for her exam. The staff was patient and gentle. Got her checkup, including the nail trim. Wonderful experience.
