This pharmacy has really gone down hill after Mr. Abelts departure! I texted my prescription at 7:30 Monday morning for a local delivery, not received it by 2pm. I then called a couple of times, NO ANSWER! I had to go by there, and no one knows anything…..

I've been using this pharmacy for a few years now, mainly because it's the only one that can fill my needs. Ever since covid this place has gone down hill. I consistently have problems with them filling out and notifyng me of my medication. I can file my refill thru their app, but never get a response to when it arrives or is ready for pick up, despite it being in my file to notify. I usually have to remember to call in about a week to find out the status. Recently, I didn't get a chance to call and and wasn't notified and they sent my medication back. When I first called, all I got was a "we're sorry."They'd get a 1- star if it wasn't for Vanessa, who was able to get my meds back. This ordeal happens almost every time and I can't imagine I'm the only one.

I have been using this pharmacy for several years because I think supporting local businesses is important. I’ve had several issues with medications not in stock, having to remind them of coupons that have been attached to prescriptions throughout several refills, and other small things. I get that everyone is human. I never complained and continued to support this pharmacy. However, after today I am done. I need a specific medication for migraines that is taken monthly. I sent my refill in on the app like I always do. I went to pick it up and after waiting about 15 minutes they tell me I need a PA. I asked the tech, confused, “Since when?” She responded very rudely with, “Since now. You’ll have to call your doctor tomorrow.” I informed her that I never needed a PA before and it just seemed odd that I do now. I called my insurance and they fixed the issue right away. I go back in and they are already working on it, which is great. Then they tell me my coupon for my co-pay (which is $200) isn’t working. I download a new one, activate it, and give them that. Still apparently isn’t working. At this point I’ve been waiting inside the pharmacy for an hour and a half and they are technically closed. I’m now being told (by the same rude tech) that I’ll have to try again tomorrow because… wait for it… THEY DO NOT EVEN HAVE IT IN STOCK. I would love to know why I wasn’t informed of this from the start. Instead of being with my kids after working all day, I sat in a pharmacy for over an hour and a half for no reason. I’m officially done with Abeldt’s and will be moving all mine and my family’s prescriptions to Lufkin Pharmacy first thing in the morning.Editing to add:Spoke with Erika, a manager this morning. She was very kind and apologized for the situation. She made sure everything was taken care for today. I am still moving pharmacies, but appreciate all Erika did to help.

Worst pharmacy ever!! Did not get the prescription I needed and they took forever to find my information on file. A young man Jeffrey was screaming at his employees while I was waiting for my prescription too.

Very disappointing! I have placed my faith in the pharmacy to fill my children’s medications for years. After multiple “mistakes” over the years I have decided to part ways. With all the hands behind the counter I don’t understand why there are so many errors and misinformation given directly to clients who trust them to give the right information and correct medication.

Their very family oriented and have s as Leah’s treated me and my family like we were their family. I didn’t realize he was the same pharmacist I used in Tyler or id of been using them when I moved to lufkin 8 months ago lol FIVE + STARS GIVEN!!!

We have been using this pharmacy for the past few years and today yall outdid yourselves! We came by around 1:30 this afternoon and yall were closed. My heart dropped and I almost started panicking because my son's meds were there and he has a seizure disorder. Well we saw an employee walking to his car and we told him it was very important that we get the meds, he told us to wait and he came out a couple minutes later and told us to go to the window and they would get us checked out. The owner of the store got us the meds. I can not thank yall enough! Yall are a blessing to our family! We love Abeldt's!
