This is where your stuff goes to GET STOLEN. My unit got broken into TWICE while I was here. Everyone I talked to either had their unit broken into or knew someone who did. Sure they have cameras on the entry and exit gate to make it L@@K safe when you come to sign up, but the thieves just cut the locks on the OTHER gates where there are no cameras. See picture of the non working camera. Sad part is they had cameras they could put up, the owner is just too cheap to do so. Bottom line, you better ask for $50-$100 a month OFF your rent and put your own alarm system on your unit because it's GOING TO GET BROKEN INTO, it's only a matter of time. The smart thing is just go somewhere where they have working security. The thieves KNOW there is none here and it's just an open looting fest. So if people keep renting here (giving them their money) why would the owner bother improving security? The answer is HE WON'T. You've been warned.

Your belongings are not safe here. My unit was broken into twice in less than a year. The first time, they only took my tools, like they knew exactly what was there and only came for 1 thing. Staff at Southwest are less than sympathetic, with one employee simply stating, well yeah, my units been broken into 3 times. It's key code entry, but for some reason the gate is always open. I'm sure there are much better, and safer options in the LBB. Luckily I no longer have a need for Southwest Storage.

Our unit has been robbed twice in 1 year. They leave the gates open on the weekend and don’t have camera coverage. The first time, they got us for about $10,000. It will take time to figure out how much they got this time.

Gave out wrong information when we were ready to move out, 1 person said it will be prorated so we emptied the storage, only to find out it will not be prorated and basically we would be charged $330 for 1 week. After being a customer for more than 5 years, they refused to prorate or even consider for possibly charging less for the 1 week. Very bad customer service and does not appreciate any loyalty.
