These five stars are specifically for Jena the nail tech. She is THE BEST. She can and will carry a pleasant conversation with anyone and her work ethic is everything you could hope for. I usually get a shellac manicure from her and it's always perfect. My mother in law gets acrylics and hers always look amazing too. I don't have any experience with any of the other employees at Meli but they are always smiling and inviting as I walk to the back where Jena works. I'm sure they provide excellent service as Jena attests to.

My experiences at Salon Meli have always been outstanding. Melissa did my hair for years, and I ended up with extremely healthy, beautiful locks all the way down to my butt. I moved to an island in the middle of no where and I miss Melissa as much as I miss Taco Villa! I highly recommend Salon Meli!!!

BEWARE OF THIS PLACE! VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! NOT TRUSTWORTHY! DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY! I was given two gift certificates through LivingSocial from family. Was told I couldn't use both (I would have to give one away) because they had been bought by the same credit card. Yes, they were, because we used one credit card for all Christmas purchases. I had booked a second appointment (at my own expense since told I couldn't use both certificates) but had to cancel the day before my appointment because of illness. I called back the morning of to make sure manicurist received the message. Several weeks later, I receive an email from Living Social that I had not used my second certificate. I called the salon for two weeks, trying to reach manicurist and finally talked to someone else. I was then told that I could use the certificate for a facial or massage. Later that evening (about 7:45 pm.) I received a very rude and demeaning phone call from the manicurist telling me I had forfeited my certificate for not canceling within 24 hours. How can you forfeit something that wasn't being used because SHE said I couldn't???? She said I had not been trying to reach her that this was the only call she had received....funny that she received it ONLY after I spoke with someone else and did not leave the message directly on her extension!!!!! BEWARE! I WOULD NEVER, EVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND TRUST!!!!!!!
