Absolutely clean, with great quality control bu Ms. Madea. The staff is charming and keeps warm cookies and crisp flavored water on hand. The beds are soft and comfy. With a great variety of breakfasts, it’s a different variation every morning: eggs, omelettes, waffles, cereal, egg soufflés, sausage, biscuits and gravy, bagels, fruit, yogurt, juices, coffee bar, hot chocolate, etc.We loved it here!

Hotel definitely needs a signature fragrance of some sort because the smell it has is not it.My first room has hair in the restroom sink, shower floor and walls. Like if they cleaned everything with the same rag over and over. Oh and the best part was black dried old poop stuck inside the toilet.Kitchen counter top was dirty with stains as if someone cooked?But the kitchen sink had a whole wiggling little creature with idk how many legs stuck on a piece of either old food or rust?!! I couldn’t tell but I do have a video to show you. The gentleman up front did not want to see the video he just gave me a key to another room.That room ac did not work and the kitchen draw wouldn’t not close & the dishwasher wouldn’t stop beeping even after trying to stop it.Next room was clean, but had a bad smell like heavy seasoned food was cooked and it wasn’t aired out, ac worked.The pool area was clean but didn’t have no towels.Breakfast was nice. Lady was nice.Nice hotel just needs better management or staff to push for better.

I just want to say the man in the front named "D" was exceptional in his services. We are from out of town and had an unfortunate issue with the previous hotel we booked. We found this Marriott late at night, trying to find another hotel wasn't easy. However "D" went far and beyond to help us out while we were here for a convention. He truly will go the extra mile for the guests at Marriott and make sure the guests are comfortable. I cannot thank him enough ??Rooms: Extremely clean

My family and I stayed at this Marriott location for 2 1/2 months as we relocated. From our very first night, we were made to feel at home by the exceptional staff. As each day passed, the hotel staff came to become part of our family. The entire staff was great! I hesitate to name names, because I don't want to miss anyone. But, I have to mention Ms. Monica, Mr. Tyrone at the front desk to Ms. Madea in service. Our breakfasts were also perfect, and hit the spot each morning. I am not one to post compliments, especially where hotels are concerned...but, in this case I had to post this review. You will not be able to choose a better hotel in Lubbock!!- especially one that more affectionately embraces all of their customers as coming home- for however long they stay. Stay here! Great choice!

Looks are certainly deceiving. With this being a newer hotel, I expected better. The staff was friendly, the location is good, but it is evident that this hotel is not well maintained and I was thoroughly disappointed and disgusted. I’ve stayed at identical Residence Inn hotels with the same layout, which is why I chose this hotel — but this one was not clean. Most of the surfaces looked dirty, the bed linens had an orange residue, the blow dryer was broken, someone forgot to put the slot drain cover back in place in the shower, and the bathroom floor looked like someone completely forgot to sweep and mop, so you can use your imagination on that one. Needless to say, I’ll be finding another hotel if I have to go back to Lubbock.

The hotel appears new or newer from first sight. We always stay at hotels with kitchens bc we do extended stays and like to be able to cook or prepare food. We’ve stayed at A LOT of hotels all across the country. Sometimes you end up at a hotel that’s older and rough around the edges but CLEAN and sometimes you get to a hotel like this hotel. Newish but not being maintained properly. It’s hard to blame it all on housekeeping. I see Lisa Marie working and she’s hard working but her housekeepers appear inconsistent. I never see the same one twice. I’m assuming the property is suffering from a hiring shortage. The gym is very dirty and so is the attached bathroom. The rooms are clean enough but not sparkling clean. The carpets in the hallways never get vacuumed. The curtains are not hanging properly so they appear trashy. The room was dusty when we arrived and I found a dirty coffee cup stored in the cabinet. It’s a lot of small/medium issues that add up to one big issue. Breakfast is always fresh and hot. Staff are friendly but this hotel is not being maintained in the manner that it deserves to be maintained. I’m posting anonymously bc my stay here is lengthy but I know these things can be fixed. Hopefully this is seen and rectified ** not posting pics to help maintain my anonymity **Nearby activities: TT is right across the streetSafety: I feel very safeWalkability: Walking to restaurants coffee or just for leisure is great hereFood & drinks: Near a lot of restaurants and shopsNoteworthy details: Great location

We had an overall good stay, staff was definitely nice. Who I presume was the housekeeping manager, greeted us at breakfast and asked how our stay was. That was a nice touch. Would have been nice to have been acknowledged while waiting in the long lines at the desk though. Even a simple, “ I’ll be right with you” goes a long way. Also, our room was not inspected before it was assigned to us. Lots of hair on bathroom floor, counters not wiped off well, smudges on walls and light switches. Also, my son found a toothpick on the floor. Bed was pretty firm, and not the comfiest. I had wished I had brought my own pillow as well, the ones provided would fall very flat and it was very hard to sleep. The room was a good size though, and we appreciated the space. I would stay here again because the staff was nice and the location was superb.

Ask For Monica She is phenomenal great customer service conversation and overall a great person love love loved her wish I could take her to houston with me I’d definitely recommend her to anyone I know in the lubbock area and I’ll definitely be back just to see her again a definite 10/10

I had the pleasure of checking in at this location with one of the most sweetest souls in my experience dealing with any Mariott hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Ms. Monica you a great I cannot thank you enough for the 5 star service that you provided me and my family. The best service. Everything from the cleaning staff to the breakfast staff. Everyone is so nice and welcoming.The beds are good. You can get as much or as little cleaning as you want, you just have to ask for it.

Tyrone and Roni, at the front desk, we're very helpful. Housekeeping were on top of tasks. This is only a 3 year old Marriott. Very modern and spacious rooms.
