I have used RDA products my entire career and love them. However, since the new owners have bought out the Lubbock store, I am now in search of other products to use. The sales person comes weekly to take orders but is not allowed to deliver…what a waste of time and gas! Now we have to have the products shipped and pay $9 for the pleasure. Besides that, my shop is small and there are only two of us and we are not always in the salon everyday. If products are shipped and we are not there, we don’t get them. We learned last week that our salesgirl, Tory, has been let go. We heard that they made the instore employees remove indoor houseplants…they made the store look too homey! Well, good luck in the future…you will not have my business!

I have been doing business with RDA for 30 years now. They have always been so easy and helpful to work with. The change over has not been good. The employees are still so nice, but are very limited in what they can do. There is an attachment you get to your customers and clients through the years, and when you are not allowed to help them, it can be very discouraging. Also, not allowing the sales person that they send out every week, who has called on us every week for years, bring supplies to us is crazy!! I don’t want to do UPS, I’m not going to pay the shipping, and I might not be at my shop when they show up to deliver. I live in a small town an hour away and having someone deliver once a week has been very beneficial to my business and clients through the years. It’s a shame what the new owners are doing to their employees and their customers.

I feel like since the new owner has taken over the customer service has gone out the window. Don’t get me wrong everyone in the store is super nice and helpful!! What I’m talking about is the fact that the new owner took away our delivery service. I don’t want UPS delivering my stuff, and I don’t come to Lubbock unless I absolutely have to. I want the good ole West Texas customer service delivery. I want to see a friendly face who actually asks us about our family and how we are doing. Our sales rep comes every Friday, why can’t she keep delivering our products? Why send her to our out of town shops just to take an order and NOT be able to deliver? I mean, she comes EVERY Friday, it’s not like she’s making an extra trip. It’s not friendly and it’s not the way customer service should be. If you take over a store in West Texas then you should learn the West Texas way of doing things!!
