If I could leave 0 stars i would. BEWARE! They do not care what kind of vehicle they stick you in they just want your money, I was sold a lemon and not even 2 weeks of having the car it was jerking with transmission issues. They came and got my car 5 different times and couldn’t diagnose the issue until I took it to a different dealership myself. They know exactly what is wrong with the car, not to mention the salesman who sold me my car was drinking in my vehicle as he delivered it to me at my house. Very unprofessional! I even mentioned it to the sales manager and he just said “oh sorry”. Steer clear of the whole entire dealership they are very grimey and will sell you something with a known issue.

I don’t like to write negative reviews but my experience with this dealership was so upsetting. I requested a singular quote from pollard’s website and it led to borderline harassment to a point where I had to block their email addresses and phone numbers. They called me 3 times on a day when I had worked a night shift and repeatedly woke me up after I had asked for them to stop calling. They sent me 6 emails within the space of 10 minutes on multiple occasions. For your own sanity avoid this place like the plague, I was genuinely interested in buying from here until they absolutely bombarded my phone and refused to back off. Absolutely ridiculous.

Definitely STAY AWAY, I went to trade in a truck and was told it would be better to keep the truck I wanted to trade in so there was no negative equity. I called the insurance and the “salesman” went mia for 30 minutes or so and came back and said they are requiring down payment of atleast 1k and something else. At this point I was over it as it had been 2-3 hours of being up there as the guy told us to go to the other location to test drive it but he took the wrong key to the other location. In the end I called asked to speak to manager a guy called 3-4 hours later and all he could suggest was to call another manager so I called Jimmy the manager he did not take the call and did not callback but he told the guy I called and was going to leave reviews which the lead the guy to text unprofessional stuff until 9 o’clock that night

Pollard Friendly Ford Lubbock SOLD ME A LEMON VEHICLE (S)
I purchased a car on July 6th 2024 and when I got it and finally got home it was broken. Didn't receive all my paperwork. I've contacted them ever since and I'm not getting any where with it. My salesman was Tyler Sacre I informed him that the window was broken and that my sunroof was broken too and the engine from day 1 ( one). I sent him pictures and he said bring it back up there Monday so I did. He did change the front window but he would not take care of the rest of the broken things ie.( Sunroof and Engine). He told me that if I wanted the sunroof fixed give him another $700.00 more dollars. I told him I wasn't fixing to drop another penny. Let me inform you that we took one of their flyers up there that's said all we needed was $500.00 dollars to get into vehicle and I had my uncle with me. I told him I would do $1500.00 down he came back and asked for $5000.00 and I gave it. I should have ran then. He said if I gave the $5000.00 my pmts would be where I wanted them he lied. He just took the money didn't tell me my pmts and took me over to finance. I contact Exter Finance on the 8th of July and informed them of what's going on and they said that I could take it back. I told them that I was standing in front of Pollard where I bought the car,and I had the salesman Tyler in front of me and informed Exter of what Tyler said.. He said they not taking it back and it will be a repo on my credit. Remind you it hasn't been 3 days since I got this car. While being in touch with Tyler he started getting upset and started talking rude. I informed him that he's not going to speak to me that way, so he hung the phone up and blocked me. I found a Manger and informed him if what's going on and he laughed. His name is Hadly Weaver and after laughing he said he would talk to Tyler. Hadly send me to a place called Fisher Trim. I took the truck up there and the looked at it. I informed Fisher when I got there the Mgr Mr. Hadly sent me to them and he would like for y'all to contact him with the issue and price. I contacted the shop a two weeks later to see what was going on. They said that they left messages, emails, and text on numerous occasions but he hadn't responded to them. So I went up there this is when this other guy started talking to me and Mr Hadly his name is Jerry Hasch and Mr Hadly gave me Jerry number instead of his. Long story short got a call saying give the $2000.00 now for the sunroof. Remind y'all I'm talking to the guy and have how much the replacement will be. Pollard tried to scam me out another $$2000.00 dollars I have all receipts and if I can find out how to post them I am going to post it. The issue hasn't yet to be resolved. The replacement only cost $2600.00 dollars. Then went I told them how much it cost they said give them $1300.00 I don't have anymore money for things they should be doing. They broke the other side closing it. They want me to do fraud to the warranty people to fix the motor issue. Not a good look Pollard Friendly Ford Lubbock Texas 3301 S. Loop 289 79424.. I going to post on all platforms till this issue is resolved. They really don't get any stars!!

Service dept is horrible. If you take your vehicle in for a recall or an issue covered by warranty, count on being prioritized behind everyone else. I was told my vehicle's issue would be fixed in 2 days. Here I am around 10 days in, and all I hear is "Oh it'll be done tomorrow". My wife's car has a recall and we've been waiting on the part to come in for 3 months. Completely unacceptable.

We were in the market for a bigger family vehicle and had been looking around for about 4/5 weeks. We had been to just about every big dealership company before we came to Pollard Ford on Ave Q. Drew Garcia was so personable, genuine and treated us like people and not just a sale. He drove us around to all the Pollard lots looking for a vehicle that fit all our requirements. Wasn't pushy when we told him that we had 2 other vehicles we were gonna look at on different lots before we made our decision. We ended up coming back and purchasing from him and Pollard! Thank you Drew! Your customer service made the difference to us

WARNING: PROCEED WITH CAUTION! The GM, Jase Foster, resorted to deceitful tactics, including making false promises, in order to address issues with a lemon vehicle they traded me. They demanded my late grandfather's death certificate as a condition for resolving the problem, claiming it was necessary for the title transfer of the traded-in truck. However, after complying with their request, I have not received any further communication from them. I ended up shelling out $7,000 for a truck that was supposed to be in excellent working order, only to be left disappointed and ignored. Companies like Pollard and their employees perpetuate distrust among hardworking individuals. Be wary of their questionable practices.

Hadley is the worst manager to work with. He doesn't comprehend the word No and consistently pressures you into a car. The finance manager, Wyatt, won't let you say no and makes you sign paperwork before giving you a total payment. Everytime I said no he tried to better the deal even though I expressed I wasn't comfortable with the whole thing. They won't allow you to date any contracts either.
As far as I'm concerned I'm stuck with a vehicle I'm not comfortable with and will NEVER work with the company again. They went as far as stating my vehicle was already funded and yet the finance company has no record of any of my information. They constantly lie. The vehicle was filthy when I picked it up even though they stated it was detailed.

My dad purchased a truck three months ago all cash with a broken windshield and the sales guy promised to mail a check for a windshield replacement and nothing has arrived, the WORST part is the title hasn’t been delivered either and its almost 4 months, no one is able to give me details nor a solution, i will not recommend this place at all, i will submit a complaint with the DMV as well

Purchased a used Rav4 from Pollard in April. Sales guy Daryl was great very helpful even met me half way between Lubbock and Abilene. Everything was great till it came time to get the plates. Supposedly Plates were mailed on May17th. Never got the plates and started making phone calls and text trying to find out where they were. Spent several weeks trying to get answers and it was like pulling teeth to even get a return text. Finally on the day the temp tags were to expire I went to the local tag office and was told for $6.50 I could get replacement plates and walked out with them. I was very happy with Pollard till the purchase was done then it was like pulling teeth to get any answers. After the trouble I don't think I will deal with Pollard again which is sad.

Spent 45 mins waiting around to test drive a truck. Went inside to and had a sales lady run a quick estimate of numbers. Wasn’t in my price range so we left, they called us back and we went in to do a soft check and see, and they ran an unauthorized hard check after specifically saying they wouldn’t without prior authorization. I had heard a lot of terrible things about them but decided to give them a shot and it was a mistake. Won’t be back.

I recently had the pleasure of purchasing a new vehicle from Pollard Ford, and I cannot speak highly enough about the exceptional service I received, particularly from Baylen. From the moment I stepped onto the dealership floor, Baylen was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in ensuring that I found the perfect vehicle to suit my needs. He went above and beyond to answer all my questions, provide valuable insights, and guide me through the selection process with patience and expertise. The level of customer service and dedication Baylen exhibited was truly remarkable, making my car buying experience not only stress-free but genuinely enjoyable. I am thrilled with my new vehicle and grateful for the outstanding assistance Baylen provided. I highly recommend Pollard Ford to anyone in the market for a new car, and I suggest asking for Baylen to guarantee a smooth and pleasant purchasing experience.
