The will shut off your debit card without notice for no reason. This happened on a weekend trying to pay for lunch. Banks were closed. I had $2000 in my account at the moment. Embarrassed me in crowded restaurant. As soon as they open on Monday, I'm closing my account.

They lack attention to detail. Nobody is perfect but at least act like you care. Don.t reply with your same thing you always do. That’s the way a local bank should do business.

Walked into plains capital bank last Friday to get a new debit card. Talked to a young lady who happened to be the teller.I requested a new debit card. After the process on her end was complete she told me I’ll have it in a couple of days. I then asked to have some cash until I get the card. In which she almost gave me money out of someone else’s account, had I not corrected the error.(today)A week later and after numerous binds due to a closed account. I still didn’t receive a debit card. I walked in to see what the problem was with this only to find out from three kids that it takes 7-10 business days for me to receive a new card. Something nobody consulted me on.Then a one of the gentleman I was dealing with walked into the next room by the drive thru area and proceeded to bad mouth me to a fellow coworker.I asked him for the branch manager (Taylor)This gentleman told me that Taylor just stepped out to lunch.I called back an hr later requested to speak to a branch manager They first asked my name. (which I found odd, shouldn’t matter) l only to be told once more that (Taylor) “just stepped out for lunch” and I’m supposed to trust these people with my money.
