I'm new to Lubbock and had the "new hairdresser" anxiety that all of us women have experienced. My hair was almost to my waist and I was ready to chop it off. My appointment was with Pat, she gave me a perm and cut at least 9 inches off the length. She did an amazing job, she is very sweet and friendly. The salon is clean and staff was very nice. I will be going back and recommending Mr Tom's to everyone!

I would give a 0 if I could. It seems that the stylist, Ricky, gave me a terrible perm. Real dry and frizzy. I don't know what happened, but I did see him switch out the perm solution for some reason (cheaper quality maybe). Also, it seems that the stylist was mostly interested in my social status instead of taking care of his job. All the people in the salon acted weird! He said a lot of people come here when there is something going on in Lubbock. Well, Mr. Ricky, I am not a social butterfly, nor do I have a lot of money, but I did expect you to give me a decent perm. This was the worst perm I have ever had!!! I have been a lot better salons that this one. Perhaps it is a "Lubbock" sort of thing, or just plain incompetency.

Ricky is amazing! I have been going to Ricky since 2006. Last year I moved 6 hours away. I still come back to get my hair done. I don't trust anyone but Ricky with my hair.
