I've had experience working in Retail, and understand it can be demanding so I'm typically patient with retail workers cause I get it. However I was stopping by this store to grab a phone charger while on a business trip and was kind of shocked at their lack of Customer service. I walked around the Phone Chargers section which was super unorganized and had no flow whatsoever, just a huge mixture of different products for different phones all jumbled together. To add on to it, the workers watched me circle the same section 4 times and didn't bother asking if I needed assistance a single time. (It was the middle of the afternoon, not exactly a busy time of day as they were all just chatting amongst eachother). Mostly disappointed because it just seemed lazy of them.. I'm an easy upsell, but ended up leaving empty handed.

After reading the reviews and a single time entering the store, it was apparent these employees are more interested in each other than their jobs. Way to go Best Buy. I need a new glass shield for my iPhone which is supposed to be a Beat Buy lifetime guarantee. I will contact the Best Buy back in Cleveland Ohio. It will take less time and aggravation than Lubbock's sorry store. Close it. Save money!

On July 7th I bought a $2,000.00 TV and purchased Geek Squad to deliver and set up. When they brought the TV the box was freight damaged and had a huge hole in it. They installed it anyway to see if it would work and it did not. They left with the damaged box to rid themselves of the evidence and left the broken tv hanging on my wall while they were supposed to go back and get another and replace it. That was the first lie. I got a call from the Geek Squad 30 minuteds after they left telling me there was no other in stock and I would have to wait 5 days for them to come back with another TV. In the meantime I was just supposed to put up with a broken tv hanging on my wall for a week. I went to the store to talk to the manager about it and he told me the same lie about how his Geek Squad techs had no way of knowing if the tv was damaged even though the box had a size 13 boot hole kicked in it. He took there side of the lie and I went home without a refund. It has taken going back and forth to the store three times and multiple chats and phone calls to try and get a refund. Today is July 13th. I just received the refund. These people have no integrity and I wouln't recomend them to my dog.

Incredible customer service. Went in to pickup a gas grill. The website and their system showed the grill was in stock. However, the grill was NOT in stock. The manager gave me the next model up that was in stock. It was worth 25% more for the same price. I drive across town for all my electronic purchases now.

Worst company, worst customer service and staff than any company we have ever dealt with. Caused us several hours from a busy day waiting on them and trying to make contact with the local store. Over seas customer service is a joke. Best Buy website claimed to have item in stock with one hour pick up. Four hours later and an hour on the phone, find out not in stock. Never to do business with Best Buy again. Will tell everyone how bad they are and hopefully, they will keep loosing business until they go out of business as they deserve.

We spent quite a bit of time with one of the most knowledgeable Apple Rep's, Abe Sosa, at this store. He helped us with purchasing an Apple watch for my 90 year old dad. We were most interested with the fall detection. HIs patience was invaluable to us. Abe, thank you so very very very much. You made this an easy purchase.

Yesterday I purchased an 800$ TV from this location, initially we set it up to be delivered. I go back the next day with a truck to pick up the TV instead since I wouldn't be home the day they wanted to deliver. The people at the pickup counter told me to wait 20 mins (this was at 6:30 and the store closes at 8:00) and they would have the TV ready. I waited over an hour and asked the pick up desk if the TV was ready. After being told it would take 20-30 mins, I waited hour and a half only to be told that they wouldn't be able to get the TV until the next day. The simple solution would have been just to walk back to simply grab the TV and bring it out to me as the store wasn't really that busy. Absolutely unacceptable customer service. I will be refunding the purchase and go about 3 stores down to a Costco to buy the same product, for less, oh...and they bring the product out to you in only a few minutes or less.

This store suffers massively from supply chain issues and having things in stock. Most of the time everything you want/need is out of stock or low in stock. The service team at the mobile / activation desk is lazy, rude, and hard to understand. They talk down at you like a 5 year old child when you ask any question- and the online pricing/stock info is almost always wrong or hard to clarify. It sucks this is the only Best Buy in Lubbock and your only option to go to.

August 8, 2022 3:50 p.m. Employees standing around talking to each other while nobody at the check stand. Two visiting at the front door for starters. Finally, very politely I asked a young employee behind me if he thought someone might soon be coming to take my money. His reply: "We are busy right now." Honestly, he was just standing around talking to another fellow behind the customer pick-up window, so he didn't appear to be "busy." I waited longer, and finally a fellow appeared behind the cash register. The sign told me to wait to be called up. So he and I stared at each other. Finally I, again politely, asked him "Are you ready to take my money?" His reply (barking): "YEAH!" Had it not been so important that I obtain this item for an elderly couple who can no longer drive, I would have handed him the item and left. But I really needed it. Next time I will go anywhere but here for this item. I hope management reads this.

I have chronic heart failure and stage 3 kidney failure so therefore quite a bit of Edema in both legs. I also have a worn out right knee that needs replacement. I thought a pair of Compression Boots would help my condition so I purchased a top of the line pair From Best Buy For $865.00, tax included And with the knowledge that they could be returned if not satisfied. I tried them several times and they worked fairly well on the Edema but even on the lowest setting they hurt my right knee to the point I had to stop. upon returning them I was told that I should have been informed of a $120.00 restocking fee and would that be OK. I told him NO , it would not be OK. He asked if I wanted to keep them then. I said NO, I can't use them but the question was if that would be OK. It will not be OK but they had me by the short hairs so the only recourse was to warn others of their policy and never shop there again. I'll stick with Amazon where I have never paid a restocking fee or even return postage. If anyone reads this today and would like a top of the line, Spa grade compression boots, go to the Best Buy on the West loop. I'm sure you can by them for a $100.00 discount but keep in mind of a exorbitant restocking fee if they don't work for you

2 week return policy... that's insane. Especially for high price items. Getting a gift for someone 2 weeks in advanced, if the product turns out to be defective you're out a ton of money. Next time I'll buy the product straight from product manufacturers. Don't waste your time or money.

I recently purchased a dishwasher from Best Buy in Lubbock. I had the store do the installation. The service man who did the install was very kind , very quick and efficient. I wouldn't hesitate to use their service again.
