We were vacationing in Lubbock when my husband started having tooth pain. He couldn't sleep and his jaw was swollen. We called Dr. Sutak's office and they were able to get him in for an emergency visit. After x-rays, a root canal and removal of infection around the tooth, my husband left the office pain-free and his tooth and crown were saved. Dr. Sutak listened to my husband's concerns and questions. He communicated each step in the process and gave him a treatment plan for his at-home care. The office staff was extremely courteous and caring. This is a great dental office and we highly recommend this amazing dentist to anyone who needs dental care.

Detailed accounting for those who have a lot of anxiety when going to the dentist - I believe it was the best experience I've had with a new patient exam and x-rays. I am 40 and lived all over so I've had a few different dentists in life.
It was not that the others I've visited did anything wrong exactly (for the most part) but lone star smiles stands out far above the rest. It's the small things that make you feel welcome. They managed to make the sterile environment seem warm still.
There are really fancy pens at the front desk. First thing I noticed. They were all too happy to offer me one both colors to keep. I love fancy pens it was delightful. And it cut anxiety because it diverted the focus from where I was.
They have a small little waiting room away from the lobby stocked with drinks and snacks. Even hot herbal teas if coffee didn't seem appealing. It seemed to distance my mind from where I was because it physically felt like a separate space.
Staff was very friendly and seemed happy and relaxed. I had a bad experience once walking into a dental office and the staff was obviously walking in egg shells and it was clear there was conflict behind the scenes. That kind of thing will set your anxiety off pretty badly. It is really important for the overall energy of a place and it the more relaxed they are the more relaxed you are.
Their x-ray process is efficient and I did not have any discomfort. They even offer you a warm blanket! I was very surprised by this touch. The visit was better than expected
So I recommend lone star smiles for others who are anxious. It seems like they put a lot of thought into making it nicer for people who are.

My son recently suffered a bike accident that lead to the breaking of his two front teeth. During a tragic moment for my small family, Lonestar Smiles came in with the save. They took my son in the very next day and provided the absolute best care and service. From the minute we entered the doors, we received the best treatment and met some of the kindest people.
Dr. Sutak did an EXCELLENT job repairing my son’s teeth and had a great bedside manner! He worked through his lunch break to ensure that my son was taken care of. He is the BEST dentist I have ever encountered. His staff is very professional and accommodating as well. We will continue to see Dr. Sutak for all our dental needs as he is clearly the best!

I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Sutak and his amazing staff! They went above and beyond to fit my nephew in for emergency dental work on short notice, even working through their lunch break to accommodate him.
Dr. Sutak is incredibly thorough and professional, but what truly stands out is his compassion and care towards his patients. He took the time to explain everything and made my nephew feel completely relaxed and at ease during the procedure. It’s clear that he genuinely cares for his patients!
Thank you for making a stressful situation so much easier! We’re so grateful for Lone Star Smiles!!

I’m not one to normally frequent my Dentist. However when I started getting my most recent cleaning done I was very comfortable and the staff from the brining made me comfortable. Dr.Sutak insured I was numb and Liz did an incredible job. She made sure multiple times that I was not having any pain. Definitely the best and most worry free cleaning. During the visit two infected teeth were found and I was scheduled to get them fixed or extracted. On extraction day my anxiety was non existent with Dr Sutak and his assistant Melissa. There was no pain at all, and I had three teeth extracted including a very impacted wisdom tooth. Little did I know it didn’t have any wisdom in it because if I did, I would have visited Lonestar Smile a long time ago. There you are not treated like a number or a patient; you are treated like family. All my dental needs will be taken to Lonestar Smiles until Dr Sutak retires.

If we could give Lonestar Smiles and Dr. Sutak10 stars, we would! I consider myself a very savvy consumer and patient/parent, and honestly, most doctors do not seem to care, and do the "bare minimum" - very few doctors impress me, but Dr. Sutak certainly did!
Dr. Sutak saved my son! It was a Monday night (10/21/24) when my son's teeth were injured and somehow, I found Dr. Sutak's office. Without hesitation, Dr. Sutak arrived in his office within minutes to treat my son who had several teeth knocked out. My son is 18 years old and away from home in college. We (his parents) are 9 hours away and could not help much. We were so incredibly lucky to find this office! Dr. Sutak spoke with us personally that night and reassured us - he is very knowledgeable, but he does not let that get to his head, his demeanor is unsurpassed.
Dr. Sutak did an EXCELLENT job reimplanting and securing the teeth and kept always had a great bedside manner! He is very good at his craft (the best dentist/doctor I have ever encountered, no exaggeration). His staff is very professional and accommodating as well. As long as my son is in Lubbock, Dr. Sutak will be his ongoing dentist and I will recommend him to anyone I can. Thank you Dr. Sutak, we will be forever greatful!

Lone Star Smiles is the place to go! I had multiple fillings completed in one day without any discomfort at all, and they look great. Dr.Sutak is wonderful at what he does, his assistant Kaci was super friendly, and professional as well. I highly recommend Lone Star Smiles for any dental work you need done.

I would love to thank everyone from Lone Star Smiles. I am one that does not like to go to any type of clinics or dentist. But I was greeted and treated with the most respect. They help calm all my nerves and assured me that everything would be OK. I had a full mouth extraction and it went perfect. I'm on day two and I have had no pain what's so ever. I'm so blessed that I found this place. I would recommend them to everyone. Thanks a million.

Loved dental hygienst Miranda and receptionist Tina. Both are very professional while still making you feel like family. Dr Sutak is also very kind and professional. We never felt pressured to get unnecessary dental procedures. We will be back in six months. 5 stars!

!!!These guys are Awesome!!! I highly recommend you check these guys out if you need a cleaning or tooth pulled, they pulled my wisdom tooth out in about 5 min, very family friendly, if I could give more stars I would, come check them out.
