I can’t say enough about Kyle and his persistence performance. He has been my car guy for almost 5 years now! He went above and beyond to put me in my ultimate mom car and made sure all of the things were taken care of! Amanda and the service team was great as well when needed!

I took my car here for an oil change and routine maintenance in Dec 2023 and Aug 2024. Both times, it developed a massive oil leak within a few days of the service. This most recent time, they over tightened the plug and broke it.

For starters, i only gave 1 star to be able to post my experience but truthfully it deserves 0 stars. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone who wants their car fixed properly. My vehicle was in their possession 2 months, I paid more than plenty to have the brakes fixed & when my car was returned it still did not brake! I contacted the "tech manager" Amanda who signed off on my vehicle repairs to be told I needed to get the car back to them so they could look at it again! I've attempted contact with the service department manager Mark Jimenez several times & still have not received a phone call or the slightest acknowledgement. Just to add, my car was "lost" before they could haul it back to NM. I suggest that anyone who is thinking about using this place to look elsewhere. They will take your money & not fix your car.

The GM called me upon reading this review and we resolved the issue. I want to be clear that my original rating wasn't due to the issue specifically, but rather the fact that no one would return my calls to discuss the issue after trying to get someone to respond to me for many months.
Apparently the way Gene Messer VW handles customer issues is to ghost them. I have had an unresolved issue for months and the GM won't return my calls. I am wondering if anyone else has this issue. I leased a car from them 3 years ago and after the lease came due, I opted to purchase the car. They charged me tax on the full price of the car (not just the lease amount) and then charged me tax again on the buyout amount (which already had taxes included). Double taxed!! When is spoke with VW Finance, they told me I should not have been charged tax on the lease and after research I found out that one is not supposed to pay tax on a lease in Texas. VW Finance told me to have the dealership fix it, but they won't even take my call.

I made an appointment to drop my car off on Wednesday at 2:30. I wanted to see if they could diagnose the air conditioning problem. I when I dropped it off, I was told they’d get to it in the morning on Thursday. I called three times Thursday. I was told they’re “still diagnosing”. Amanda, in service, told me at 5:15 she’d call me back. I never got a call. 8 minutes before they close, I got a text with $10,000 of suggested services. I picked up my car on Friday. They charged $217 just for diagnoses—a service most places offer for free. I paid Amanda and asked why she didn’t give me a call back yesterday like she said she was. She replied in an argumentative tone, “you got a text of recommendations, though, right?” I didn’t say anything as I’m not arguing with anyone. The bottom line is if you need service, don’t come here. They’ll take forever, not communicate properly/appropriately, charge you 2-3 times more than others for their “expertise”, and then be rude to you throughout the entire process. This was the worst experience I’ve had at a car service establishment.
