My experience with Ferguson Lubbock has been an absolute disaster starting in 2022 with little resolution to date. I have unresolved issues lasting more than a year now.
Any efforts to try and get these issues resolved or compensation directly with Ferguson, Fergusons installer Daryl Flood or the manufacturer of the appliances have not been taken seriously.
Do not buy from Ferguson if you want them to take serious delivery, installation and warranty issues.
We ordered an entire set of high-end kitchen appliances (namely Blue Star) from Ferguson in 2022 and relied on Ferguson to order, deliver and install these appliances through their chosen installer, Daryl Flood.
Here is the Recap:
-It took 4 months for Ferguson to place my blue star appliance order after they received a 50% down payment
-I was lied to by the Ferguson rep when I asked why these appliances were delayed 4 months from the original ship date and was told it was because of covid supply chain issues. The truth is they forgot to place the order and refused to send me any correspondence on when they placed the order because that was "confidential internal correspondence". I was finally told over the phone they did not order the appliances until 4 months after deposit, which is why they were 4 months delayed.
-After everything finally got ordered and was ready for delivery, I was required to prepay for the balance of the appliances and the entire installation beforehand. Do not pay for the balance of your appliances or delivery until the installation is complete and the appliances are properly installed and working.
-I gave very specific instructions several times to Ferguson to coordinate with their installer Daryl flood, to arrive at the same time on the same day so the appliances could be installed (simple right?)
-The Ferguson delivery driver arrived that morning and the installer did not. The driver said that he had a busy schedule, and didn’t have time to wait for the installer, so he gave me 15 minutes for them to get to my house or he was going to “leave my appliances in my driveway…”
-We finally get the appliances delivered and installers to show up on the same day and the 3 man Daryl flood crew shows up in the middle of the afternoon to install 8 appliances with a few hand tools and that's it. Even though the manufacturers installation instructions on the 600 pound range called for a liftjack, pallet jack or air sled for install, they didn't have any of the above. They leave the install and spend over an hour to buy liftstraps at the home depot 5 minutes away from my house.
-The 3 of them were unable to lift the range on their own with the new straps so I was given the choice of leaving a brand new range in my driveway overnight, or helping the installers lift my range into my house. Only with my help, we finally get everything into the house but now its dark and the crew has to head back to Lubbock without any appliances installed. I had to help lift the range into my house.
-After a few weeks we finally get a competent Daryl Flood install team to get everything installed only to find major problems with the brand new appliances below.
-The griddle burner on the range not working (finally resolved 3 months after install)
-The ice maker on the freezer column not working (finally resolved 5 months after install)
-The freezer column is building ice and condensation on the touch screen (still unresolved 1+ year after install)
-The refrigerator cycles on and off at random and is making noises a new refrigerator shouldn't make (still unresolved 1+ year after install)
-The touch screen on the refrigerator freezes up/blacks out at random times (still unresolved 1+ year after install)

We had been to another building showroom & had a bad experience. Ferguson was like a breath of fresh air!!! Our sales associate took us through each step of our selection process of plumbing fixtures, saving money all along the way. We walked away with total satisfaction!

My wife had a bad experience with one of the employees here. We have a venta hood brand hood and they laughed at her when she asked for an 8" roof jack to run the exhaust out. They said no one makes an 8" hole in the roof for an exhaust. What would be the point in getting a 600 cfm fan and choking it with a small hole. They should send this guy back to school to teach him about the items they sell. I'm not very impressed with the said person.

I have only gone to the side where contractors can get supplies and equipment. It is hit or miss if they have what you're looking for, but that's everywhere right now. It's hit or miss on customer service, some of the guys know where things are, and others don't have a clue. The bearded guy at the counter with that always had a hat, and shorts on is the guy you talk to if he is not busy.

Ordered appliances for my kitchen remodel, I know there is supply chain issues and can work with that. What is unacceptable is the communication issue that Ferguson has. Very difficult to get a hold of the person you are dealing with. They are quick to let off sight personnel assist, and they don't know what is going on usually. I will not be going here again.They warehouse guys are awesome, and went above and beyond to get me covered can't say enough about them. Sales side is lacking.

We bought all new kitchen appliances from Ferguson. When we purchased them we were told that delivery would be an issue due to countries and people recovering from COVID and shipping delays caused by the pandemic. After 8 months we finally received the final piece which was the trim around the microwave. That’s not the problem but rather the service that we received. We made numerous calls over this time period trying to get updated information on shipping. Each time we were directed to a different customer service representative. Each time we’re given a new date and told that our part would be in. Only to be changed again and again. Our salesperson that sold us the package was not to be heard from again. Of course when you call customer service you talk to someone in Houston or Dallas. They were of no help for us living here in Lubbock. We responded to an email sent to us from their installation coordinator about issues we had on our installation. She never responded. We would give a half star rating if we could. They don’t have terrible service they have no service.
