This is the best hair salon in Lubbock. Kayla has made me feel so confident and comfortable in the way she does my hair. I usually get all over color and she knocks it out of the park every single time. Not only is the service amazing, you can really tell that everyone likes each other within the salon. The other hair stylists will help each other out and laugh with each other. It really adds so much to the overall experience. I couldn’t recommend this place enough.

I have gotten my hair done here for years and have no plans to stop! These stylists care so much. Their attention to detail is unlike anywhere else I've been in town, and I've been to a lot of places! This salon feels safe. When you walk in, you are telaported to a prestigious vintage beauty scene. It's newly remodeled and has taken this place to the next level. My hair always turns out beautiful and my stylists are careful to not jerk my head around with my sensitive head. I also have some allergies with certain products and they are very accommodating with making sure the products used on me don't cause any reactions. I've had some HORRIBLE experiences at multiple other places with destroying my hair, bad bleach jobs, and horrible cuts. I keep RUNNING back to Eclectic People to save the day. I've finally learned my lesson enough times to keep me here for life so do yourself a favor and book yourself an appointment. You won't be sorry! Jill and her team care so much about you and will treat you like family. If you want to feel like royalty here in good ole Lubbock, TX, this is your place! Plus free coffee and good music never hurt anybody ??

I have worked at Eclectic People for almost my entire my career, and I have to say it has been such a joy to grow and mature as a stylist in such a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. I felt like I belonged from the firat day I spent at EP. Jill has poured into me and the salon in countless ways, and it will always be a treasured part of my story!

I just want to leave a review in regards to my experience working for Eclectic People. You truly don’t know how much of a breath of fresh air it is working here. I have worked in a few different salons here in town, that were just not the best experience and left me traumatized and considering leaving hair for good. Jill is the most kind and considerate person I’ve ever met and she truly cares about your success as a fellow stylist. She wants to see you win and gets delight from seeing you shine. I researched online (#lubbockhairstylist on IG) for a new place/person. I have experienced spending $200+ w/an "experienced" hairstylist, who's profile looked promising - my hair came out tinted blue ?. I typically get an ash brown color on my dark hair.It's a little stressful trusting someone with your hair especially when it's a once a year treat. Well, Raquel was AWESOME! She was kind, informative, scheduling with her was easy. She was responsive and very transparent with her pricing, etc. I haven't been dark haired in years and she suggested a "chocolate melt". I had reviewed her profile and saw she did great with dark hair and my hair was no exception. I love it!! I recommend her for brunette hair. I have zero regrets on the cut or color.The building is under construction so it might be helpful to put a nice sign up cautioning patrons but other than that I liked the space and everyone I interacted with was friendly and helpful. I even had a stylist check to see if I had been helped (and I had). Be aware of parking options. They do offer a parking lot option.I will definitely be back! Looking forward to the remodel. There are so many reasons that I love Eclectic. I have worked behind the chair for 15 years and only worked in a handful of salons. Eclectic has the best atmosphere for stylists to grow, not only in their business, but as stylists. Jill has created such an amazing work environment for everyone that you are inspired everyday. My clients have told me every time they come in that they love the atmosphere as well.

Eclectic has been one of the best salons I’ve worked in my 6 years of hair career. Jill has been nothing more than an amazing owner. Professional, caring, and humble. Not only am I very comfortable but my clients feel very welcomed and content in my chair. I believe Eclectic has great work equity, trusting and fun environment.

i go here and all the girls are so nice and sweet! Everytime I’m in, they compliment me or say something nice. I go to Rylie and I had previous box dye and when I went to get highlights we had a little mishap but she was calm, explained what was going on, and was able to fix it within the same day and my hair turned out exactly how I wanted it to! I trust her completely! :)
