Moving to Lubbock was very difficult for me. However, attending a writing and art workshop at ELAH made a significant difference. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with smiling faces. It was refreshing to see a variety of ages and people. This place made me feel safe during a time when my social anxiety and mental health issues were pressuring me to isolate and stay home.
I received books that have helped improve my emotional intelligence, and I’ve been using them since my visit to the workshop. The organizers were genuine and overall very welcoming. Thank you for creating a space where people can feel safe.

Amazing place that does so much for the community. Beautiful, thought provoking art, a well stocked library with emphasis on authors of color, a great gift shop with items for everyone, and fun events constantly being held. Not to mention the community fridge and other outreach that they do!

A great organization dedicated to enriching the community Lubbock. They provide a diverse range of classes and workshops that are affordable and often on a "pay what you can" basis. From engaging arts classes to insightful sessions on starting a non-profit, they cover everything.

East Lubbock Art House is a wonderful asset to the Lubbock community, and just such a great, inclusive space. My son has attended art camp there, and loved it so much! Absolutely recommend spending some time there, whether it be volunteering, attending an art class or just checking out the current events they have going on.

The art hanging in East Lubbock Art House is amazing, provoking, and powerful. And some is a little cheeky :) Danielle truly cares about providing a safe space for people to explore the arts, and really themselves. She offers classes, events, and fills a fridge on the front porch with food for those in need.

This is one of my favorite places in Lubbock. We gather together to talk about art and love.
