I went to pick up seizure meds for my dog ordered 7 days ago. Not ready. I asked why it took a week. I just got a stare. This is not the first time this has happened. An hour later I get a text that it’s ready. Not the first time that happened either.

The pharmacist Will and tech Gabriel are great assets to this pharmacy. I actually switched to this location that’s farther away from home, because of the customer service they provide at this CVS. I hope someone from corporate sees these reviews, because it’s your PEOPLE who make ALL the difference. Friendly service, professional, and caring people will keep me returning to this location. Thank you!

I've watched this pharmacy go from very poor in most areas to one of the best group of caregivers outside of a doctors office. The pharmacists are friendly, the new head pharmacist is a really cool guy. The staff works hard to get you the very best price. Today they saved me more than $200 and wouldn't stop until they found big savings. It's hard find people who care that much about doing their job well, but you find it here every single day.

CVS is great. I generally have good experiences there. Prices are good when I use the rewards program. Except for the self checkout. I suppose it being an option is good, especially for people who don’t want to deal with a cashier or something. However, there are times when employees aren’t at the front, so I have to either hunt one down or be forced to use the self checkout. Things often go wrong and an employee has to help anyway. It’s a sign of the times, as self checkout is now everywhere.

The over all location is always understaffed and the pharmacist has a hard time keeping his cool. The pharmacist (Will/William) can be fairly rude and take out his frustration on customers especially late at night. I don’t agree with this because you’re not getting paid to be rude to customers. I understand that there is certain things that are out of his hands, but at the end of the day he shouldn’t be acting like a child. When customers go off on him he gets really upset and he stoops to that same or worst level. I have personally seen him get really mad at a white older lady who was just trying to get her prescription filled. The overall pharmacy is a mess, medications all over the place, they had a fridge issue a few weeks back so a lot of medications were being given out while they were supposed to be in quarantine. I have a friend that also picks up her prescriptions here and she got expired medication. The pharmacist also sucks at managing his staff to the point to where he has to get front store people to go to the pharmacy to help them out because he understaffs his days and doesn’t manage his team well.

honestly if i could give this CVS 0 stars i would.. ESPECIALLY WILL!! he was soo rude i walked in and he immediately told me to leave due to an infestation of rats they are currently dealing with. He didn’t realize I was there to pick up my sister eye drops since she’s been dealing with eye pain for a while. due to that occurrence my sister is now partially blind thanks to will. If i had the money to sue i would have!!

Outrageous and terrible experience with this pharmacy. We made 3 separate trips here to pick up a med - amoxicillin, nothing special - and gave them a total of 5 hours to fill, and they never filled the med. I was told that they are understaffed and backlogged. I understand this happens, but if it is this severe, then more people need to be called in.Ultimately, they could not provide the simple service I needed, so I transferred this medication to a local pharmacy down 82nd Street, where it was filled within 20 minutes. I will do everything in my power not to fill medications again at this CVS pharmacy. The "get in line" mentality for companies with "more business than they know what to do with" is exactly what is wrong with huge corporation American medicine.

RUDE incompetent people working the pharmacy! After being discharged from the hospital took 2 prescriptions to drop off at this location about 6pm on 08/28/23. At 8pm I got a notification that 1 was ready and 1 was in progress. When my husband arrived to pick up, the pharmacy tech told us that 1 was NOT ready and the other was out of stock. I tried calling them but of course there's no way to get through to a human, so I drove back up to the pharmacy about 8:45pm so I could ask them to send it to another CVS and pick up the 1 that was ready. They grabbed the 1 that actually WAS ready the whole time, but then they acted like no other CVS was open that late, so I looked it up on my phone and showed them several that were still open. After 10 minutes of multiple people standing around the computer, they got the 2nd script sent to another open CVS. But then tried to tell me "Now that it's past 9pm I can't give you this other prescription, you'll have to come back in the morning." WHAT!? I'd been sitting in the drive thru for 15 minutes! Not my fault you took so long! Thankfully someone made the effort to go check us out up front or they wouldn't have given us the 1st prescription (that they should've given us on my husbands first trip up there an hour ago), and that same guy (who worked in the pharmacy) threw the bag into the drive through drawer at us irritably without a word. And the 2nd CVS location got the other prescription filled almost immediately. It felt like I had to think for everyone at this pharmacy to get my medicine. Horrible service and treating customers like we are a complete nuisance. Won't be going back here!

William Didwell, the “Pharmacy manager” is extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. It’s not hard to tell who he is with the distinct accent. My son has strep and He told me they don’t have a prescription for him although the doc sent it in. I said “idk what to do he has fever” to which he replied “don’t raise your voice at me” by no means did I raise my voice. therefor I replied “I didn’t raise my voice but now I will “ then he hung up . My main concern it my sons health and for a pharmacy manager to behave in that manner is wrong. highly don’t recommend !!!

CVS Pharmacies have gone down hill. They will make you wait hour to tell you they don’t have it then they will send you off to other cvs. SMH stick with Walgreens!

This pharmacy is terrible. It's always one problem after another. They make excuses for the major errors in the online and telephone systems, and are completely and unashamedly rude to customers.

I wasn't going to express a review but most of these are about the pharmacist I delt with yesterday. Fist off a prescription was transferred to this location, big mistake! Not only was the staff frustrated and confused, we waited 45min to be told by the pharmacist "I can deny your prescription". The pharmacist is an older Hispanic male, works afternoons I'm assuming named Max or Matt. After waiting 30'min through the first run through, to be told we dropped the ball by the staff. Then waiting another 15 min to speak with the pharmacist, who said "I know how to do my job" & "I can refuse your prescription" & "f@&K you get out of my drive thru" I literally can't make this up!!! All I asked him is if he was personally making the prescription, and what was taking so long. I will never go to this cvs location again and will be reporting him to corporate!

Rx was called into CVS Slaton. CVS Slaton was out of Rx. Delivery date was unacceptable due to health issues. I called CVS Slaton. Pharmacist was unhelpful. Told me to call around and then have it transferred.Called 5805-82nd CVS. Took a while to answer...the lady checked and told me it was in stock. Then she said "they (CVS Slaton) have it set for filling there...?" I asked, what do I need to do then. She said nothing...I'll take care of it.She did. It was ready about an hour later. I';ll be moving all further Rx to 5805-82nd CVSThanks for taking care of me!

After waiting for 15 minutes for someone in the pharmacy to answer my phone call, a man finally answered with "we are closed for lunch, call back" and hung up the phone.I have recently had other problems with people not knowing how to work their computer system. Something that should have been simple took over 45 minutes. I'm not sure what is going on but it is *very* unpleasant doing business there. They have wasted SO much of my time!

Rude staff that can't do their job. Was told "give us an hour" four times before they finally said it would be 1-2 days for a prescription for my mother in law who was being discharged from surgery. When I tried explaining that she needed the medication because she lives two hours away and can't come back they told me. "You'll get a text when it's ready, you don't have to keep calling".Finally had to transfer the script to United at the end of the day. They filled it in an hour. Don't support these incompetent people.
