I have a home improvement loan with City Bank. As a lot of individuals do, I manage and pay my loan online. For the past THREE YEARS I have had to deal with their online banking which is - kindly, according to my opinion - of late 1990's to early 2000's technology.Specifically, every time I try to make a "principal only" payment, while my regular payment due date is a month or more ahead, they deduct an interest payment (and not a small one) and push my regular due date payment ahead. Each time I complain; in some cases they fix it, in some cases they don't and I have to complain again, and sometimes they don't reply at all and I have to complain yet again. ALL with an online system that will not email you when they (maybe) reply to your concern. (Seriously, you don't get an email when they reply; you have to log back into their system to see if there's a massage for you.)This bank may be a more locally-focused one, but they are operating WAY out of the modern day and, in my opinion, I feel like they are acting in bad faith with payments on my loan.

I usually bank with national banks but decided to open with a local bank and these people were so nice! 90% of the product is customer service, even in banking.

I have always had satisfactory service, respect and courtesy. They always ask for ID and passwords which is expected due to fraud and people trying to steal identities. I get upset if they don't ask for my ID or password because anyone would be able to get into my account. There is always parking space available considering there is restaurants all around. Thank You for your service of 10+ years.

The j*** of a manager tried to have my truck towed while I was eating lunch with my family at chilli's. The parking lot had maybe 6 cars in it and 3 of them were my family's. He has nothing better to do but cost people money by having there vehicle towed. I do not recommend banking with them. I know I never will.
