I reserved a 12 foot truck today. My mom has been put into an assisted living facility in New Braunfels and we were going to her house in Floydada today to get some of my things. I called last night to see if I could pay for my rental in cash. I was told yes. We got there this morning and I was informed that as of October 1st, they no longer except cash. So I went to Walgreens on Avenue Q and I put the cash on a debit card. Went back out to Budget and my card was declined. I was told that it had to be a debit card that was associated with a bank. So I pulled the cash from that debit card and I put it on a debit card that is through a bank. I was told that they would accept it. That was also declined. So I told them to cancel my reservation. Now I won't be able to get anything that I want out of my mom's house thanks to Budget because my brother will probably throw my stuff away. I'm already furious with him for not informing me that they were moving my mom to New Braunfels until everything was said and done. As a single mom with low income, I chose Budget because it was cheaper. But it was a nightmare, wasting lots of gas and time running around trying to find a way that they would accept my payment for the truck but they would never accept it. So I gave up after wasting about 2 hours trying to get the stupid truck.

No truck we had reserved a month ago! When we came to pick it up they say now that they have not had the 26' truck for months. We even called to confirm twice to make sure of the trucks availability. Customer service says " a supervisor will call us in 48 hours"! We are moving today! What. Horrible experience. People working here are great but the company sucks!

It's budget!!! Customer service could have been better. Vehicle was dirty and not cleaned on the inside Thoroughly!!

The lady I spoke with on the phone was so helpful and called me back with all the details on our reservation saving me a headache, money and time at the last minute after being cancelled on twice in one day by U-haul. We were able to get our moving truck smoothy with out any issues and I appreciate the service from here.

This was the WORST customer service I’ve ever experienced. I made a reservation for a rental truck over a month ago and yesterday go to pick up my truck. First off, the guy working (older, white hair) was NOT wearing a mask and was clearly on a personal conversation (with his daughter maybe). We stood there for about 3 minutes before he says “oh well a customer just walked in so I have to go.” I then said I was there to pick up my rental truck and he shrugs and says “I don’t have a truck.” Confused, I asked what was going on and how I could get a truck. All he did was slide me a pamphlet with customer services number on it and tell me that I could call them. Customer service then told me that I would have to drive far to pick up a different truck, but that they would call me back in two hours with a location! Once I got off the phone with them, the front desk guy pulls up a report and nonchalantly goes “see? This guy tomorrow is supposed to come get a truck, but I don’t have one for him either!”Budget ended up having to pay for the difference in price for a Uhaul. Do NOT use this company and this front desk guy needs to be fired for his blatant disrespect and lack of customer service.

I ran into a horrible situation and needed to move at the last minute everywhere war completely sold out. I went to budget and was lucky enough to get the last truck! needless to say I was very pleased and was able to get out of my apartment quick!

DO NOT RENT A TRUCK FROM BUDGET RENTAL!!!! Failed to provide us a truck and had ZERO intention of telling us. We only found out we would be truckless on the pick up day was by calling and confirming our reservation ourselves a few days earlier. Customer Service is a Joke. Completely Incapable. Our entire move was ruined.

Attempted to rent from this place with the online reservation options, on the day of my scheduled pick up date and time they did not even have me in the system. This place is not something anybody should purse should you be expecting things to go smoothly.

I went online and found a military rate at Budget for active duty members. I reserved my truck in McKinney Tx. When I went to pick up the truck they held $160 deposit. I asked when the deposit would be returned, given I was only renting the truck for a few hours. The Budget associate said the next day. It has been a week and I still have not received my money back. Budget Customer Service blamed Wells Fargo and when I called Wells Fargo they said that Budget had not released the money. I do not like doing business with liars or companies who require you to give them money immediately in good faith, yet they take their time giving you back your money. I returned their truck and did everything they asked. My family sure could use that money back! Last time I use Budget, Military families and Veterans...STAY AWAY FROM BUDGET.

Use someone else! This was Awful!!!! Made a reservation. Went to pick up truck and was told they had overbooked. No help was even attempted in resolving the issue. We were told the reservation only secured the daily rate not the actual truck!! Don't waste your time with this business!!!!!! If I could give negative stars I would!!!!

My wife was attempting to set up a reservation to pick up a moving truck it showed one available online so she called to get some help and the man who answered the phone was extremely rude and said all my trucks are gone except one and it needs tires put on and it's not gonna happen because I'm not in a hurry to get them put on so I don't know when it will be available I have another size truck you can take so we asked to set up the reservation for that truck and his response was "I have too much stuff to do right now" went ahead and went with a uhaul congratulations on losing a sell.
