I should have know something was up when they didn't have a counter at the airport like the other companies. Then I get in the shuttle and the driver asks if Im getting a rental car or did I use their off site parking lot (never seen a Budgetlocation with a side hustle). Unlike othermany of the reviews here, everyone I dealt with were a nice as they could be. Then I started filling out papaerwok like it was 2010. I get my car and it is a base model 2018 Altima! And I couldn't connect my phone because again, base model. And it had 60K miles. Where are the brand standards?

Stay away like the plague if you have a 5am flight, especially if you're checking a bag, traveling with kids or elderly. Although the airpois small, you definitely don't want to rush. The rental is offsite, the only car rental off site.I got there at 3:55am, the shuttle driver did not arrive until 4:10, that is unacceptable. Do not give your business to this location.

Was renting vehicle for one day, had made reservations and called to check, lady said I would need to leave a $700 deposit, which was not mentioned while making reservations

Absolutely wonderful team. We showed up and they were able to make on the spot adjustments for me and my party. This team was better than the companies that were overrun at LBB. David Miller was instrumental in securing us a car when other companies failed and Loraine (sp?) was as sweet as could be to get us on the road quickly.Highly recommended if you need personal service.

Out of all the car rental places I've dealt with, this place by far has one of the rudest employees(older gentlemen with a salt and pepper beard)! I submitted an online reservation for a vehicle, received the confirmation and drove out there to pick it up & with a nasty attitude the gentlemen had enough nerve to ask me how I was able to do that when he didnt even have any vehicles available..like really? One thing I cannot deal with is a nasty attitude and I can guarantee I will never deal with Budget again.

Never again! An agent called to confirm my 7 day reservation and told me that there would be a $300 deposit. When I got to the counter in Lubbock to pick up the car I was told that the deposit was $423! Hell that was more than what the rental was at $356 for the entire week! All the representative could say was that she was sorry that I was told something different! I WILL NEVER USE BUDGET and I cancelled the reservation!

Worst experience and completely ripped off. I reserved for a toyota camry or equivalent, and got everything set up. The website said debit cards were accepted at this location only to get there to find out I was lied to. Had to ask my dad to cover it, had to pay an extra $114 fee to get my car, which was a Kia Rio. 2 sizes SMALLER than what I had reserved, and then I get in the car and it was DISGUSTING. The grey seats were brown and the smell is some of the worst I have. I have to deal with this car for 13 hours driving to phoenix and they gave me what is possibly a car worse than my 200k mile and falling apart Hyundai Veloster Turbo! Your company is trash and I will be pursuing as much of a refund as I possibly can from your awfully ran branch. I will be contacting the BBB and hope they do something about this privately owned branch because it is ran like complete and utter garbage. I have had to restrain from using the language that this location deserves to be described with since it would just delete this review but this place could be described with every single word. Staff was also god awful and not accomodating with only one person running it and her attitude was some of the worst I have seen, having worked in retail for 12 years, if I acted like that anywhere else I would be fired.

Be careful renting from Budget. We never will again. Rented a premium vehicle, got put in a mini van and they only refund $100 on a 5 day rental. My company will no longer use Budget either

I had to give card info before I was told that the truck was 30 miles away and there was not furniture dolly's available. I cancelled immediately and was still charged $75. this company stole this money from me at the worst time in my life.

Reserved a car, my flight was delayed so I called the 80 number and said no problem you have up to 24 hours, come to find out when I arrived that there's no cars and the 800 number people did not notify the local branch. I was stuck at airport for 35 min till Uber picked me up. My reservation for car was 79.89 now I need to pay an extra 50.89 for Uber. Will never use Budget again. Oh and said they tried calling but since my number had a 1 in front of my number they couldn't reach me.

Made a reservation a week prior to flying in. I show up and Budget says they don't have a car for me. No call, no emails, nothing from the budget app. Unbelievable.

I reserved a 12 foot truck today. My mom has been put into an assisted living facility in New Braunfels and we were going to her house in Floydada today to get some of my things. I called last night to see if I could pay for my rental in cash. I was told yes. We got there this morning and I was informed that as of October 1st, they no longer except cash. So I went to Walgreens on Avenue Q and I put the cash on a debit card. Went back out to Budget and my card was declined. I was told that it had to be a debit card that was associated with a bank. So I pulled the cash from that debit card and I put it on a debit card that is through a bank. I was told that they would accept it. That was also declined. So I told them to cancel my reservation. Now I won't be able to get anything that I want out of my mom's house thanks to Budget because my brother will probably throw my stuff away. I'm already furious with him for not informing me that they were moving my mom to New Braunfels until everything was said and done. As a single mom with low income, I chose Budget because it was cheaper. But it was a nightmare, wasting lots of gas and time running around trying to find a way that they would accept my payment for the truck but they would never accept it. So I gave up after wasting about 2 hours trying to get the stupid truck.
