I always have a good experience here. There are times they are out of some of my meds but they are a smaller pharmacy and do not carry everything that I use but they always call around and find it for me. They always keep in touch with me about other issues I have. They go above and beyond. Very personable and professional.

I’m pretty consistent with my medications. My Dr. put me on a new neurological med along with another and sent the script to Amigos. The next day I called, they said they were out but would have it the next day. So, the next day I drove across town to pick it up but they didn’t have it. They said call tomorrow, it should be ready. I called, they said the order was backed up. I called again after that and they said they were completely out. It’s day 7 now and my Dr’s office is closed. So I’m taking one of the prescribed meds without the other & it’s probably negatively affecting me but to them, it’s no big deal. The United on 4th and Slide has the medication but they can’t transfer it which In my eyes is not acceptable that they don’t work together but United’s/Amigos are segregated if you get my drift.

This pharmacy is ridiculous I had called for my son's medication May 31th at 11:30am to tell them that my son had his medications on file they said his medication will be ready by 4:45pm so when I called back at 4:45pm on May 31st they said his medication wasn't ready they will give me a call when it will be already. It's June 7th and not once did they ever call me. So when I send my husband up there and picks up his medication they're telling him that he didn't have no medication there. so when I called up there to speak to someone. Monique answer the phone so when I was telling her when I called up there she started to get rude so I asked to speak to her manager above her she puts Chris so when I explained it to him he was like I don't know who you talk to like really rude so I got so mad and yes I did cuss and he said next time I cuss he will refuse my son's medication to go there. I told him he will not rufse my son medication to go there. I ask to speak to someone above him he gave me Lisa number.

I drive across town regularly for pan dulces and menudo. The menudo is quite truly the best in town. They use feet-I know people have mixed feelings about this-but the bones give a richness to the broth that you can't get any other way. They also have a great selection of produce, Mexican chips, candy, and cookies, really good, preservative-free corn tortillas, agua frescas, salsa, and more! Besides the menudo, the conchas and marranitos are perfection. My kids love the cream cheese empanadas as well. And honestly, who are we kidding?! I do too!

It's so incredibly stupid that if I prepay for gas I can't get cash back unless it's $5 or under. If it's over $5 they give you a stupid gift card so u can spend your hard earned money ONLY AT THEIR STORES!!!!!! I hope management sees this review!!!!!

THIS BARBACOA Gets me every time! It's a heaping serving for a great price and I'm always so excited when my coworkers say they're going to pick something up from there because I know exactly what I want, and it'll be delicious every time.

Customer service . My elderly Mom has always been helped without her even asking for it. Today was a perfect example. One of the store managers (didn't get young man's name) helped my 90 yr old Mom to car & shooshed a pesty stranger away. THANK YOU, THANK YOU!

Have eaten at La Cocina several years, but under new ownership it has changed dramatically. The hours are 6am-9pm and going through the line around 6 to look for dinner was quite the challenge. Every food item looked like it had been sitting there for a few hours. Unfortunately for us, it tasted like it too. The service wasn't any better. We definitely won't be back to eat at La Cocina. It's sad when a company is purchased by someone else and everything gets worse!! Too bad for the United name. Good luck current owner, Albertsons!!

I always figured Amigos was the Fiesta of Lubbock, but boy was I wrong. This place is awful. After the time that my sister bought some ground beef and after a day sitting in freezer, that ground beef was brown. Eww gross! I bought some hatch chille tortillas from the bakery and always wondered why no one was buying? I see why! Them tortillas were moldy just sitting in my bowl at home. I swear I have no idea why they can't put an expiration date on the bakery tortillas. I promise you this place isn't fresh. You have a better bet of just going to another Mexican market which I hope they exist in Lubbock. However, the staff is so friendly and homey. Sometimes I only come to Amigos just for the amazing service (Really that's all of Lubbock). Oh and to mention, the prices are ridiculous! So Fiesta would beat Amigos. Also, they don't carry all Hispanic cookies which doesn't make sense to me. It's a bummer! I enjoy some green package type of cookies, they are delicious!!! Amigos = Friends - you disappoint me!
