Took truck in for restoration. They started out doing a good job but dropped the ball. I picked up truck did not even get truck home before it quit running correctly. He was big on make a list and we will take care of everything but failed to do lots of things on list and did a half way job on the rest. I contacted him about truck not running right and he said check fuel line could be clogged up you would think if you are doing a restoration job you would check. No help no offer to make it right. Paid way too much for the job they did. I just now got truck running and looking good by getting help from different friends. If they would have kept the pace they started out doing I believe it would have been a good job but after a time they don’t care just want your money. Would not recommend.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this shop to anyone. They are doing an awesome job on my husband's 1971 El Comino full restoration.

American Muscle Car Factory (AMCF) took my car in at the start of August and agreed to get it back to me within a month. I had requested that he try and get the car in and out quickly because it was my daily driver and the rental car was only covered by my insurance for a month. Many months later I only just received my car back and I can only say that I am very disappointed with the work. The treatment of my car while in AMCF’s possession was astonishing to me. After repeatedly telling me that my car was being worked on by a frame shop and not giving me a consistent timeline on when I would even see it next, I searched out this frame shop only to find my car sitting outside covered in dust and rain (see attached photos). Once Roy had received the car back and had finally finished it he handed me a bill saying that they had spent nearly 20 hours fitting a bumper to my car plus and additional 6 hours on various other jobs nearly double what my insurance had allotted for the job. After picking up my car and getting a better look at it under the sun I can say that I am unhappy with the work. I took it to another collision shop where they reviewed it and said “the bumper was crooked and not straight the paint job didn’t match saw minimum repair to the lower tie bar frame section that was not covered with anti-corrosion or underbody paint after repair just left if bare metal to rust and corrode there was unrepaired damaged to cowl panel -The hood and fender gaps were off and not aligned properly on both sides with length and gap issues.” What baffles me the most is that while charging me more than 2 grand over what I was expecting when I went to pick up the car the lug nuts on the wheel were so loose that had I not noticed it while driving away I am sure that the wheel would’ve come off as I could fit my fingers in between the wheel and the hub (see pictures attached)Services: Painting
