“This is my opinion of this establishment! I had seen a Facebook Post about this place and it’s burritos & cheese. So being a supporter of small businesses, I got in my car and drove to their location. It is tucked into the surrounding community but easy to find. Place was clean and organized and had good amount of choices of convenience store products. But the stars were located by the register. I order two burritos with cheese and I grabbed a soda. The owners of the establishment were friendly and professional couple. Let just say this I could not wait any longer, once i into my vehicle I opened the cheese and a burrito from it warm paper blanket. The smell brought back childhood memories. I dipped the burrito into the cheese and took my first bit, WOW is all my taste buds could scream. This burrito plus its partner were cooked with attention and care and not just thrown into the oil with a timer. I encourage you to take a drive to this store and try their burritos for yourself.”

“Looks like they're making improvements on the customer service cause today was an excellent visit. Stopped in for a fountain Big Red, wife says it has the best in town. Well, they were out. But fortunately they had for than one sales associate today and she immediately was willing to help. She advised she would check the back to get it going again. 1 minute later, we had big red flowing. So we managed to get what we needed, that's not the hard part. Checking out has always been a bit of a challenge. Well guess what they did, yup you guessed it, they installed a self checkout....aside the big red refill, I was outta there quick . Great visit. It's the little things for me that make the difference....”

“Muy linda gente y muy professional. Very kind people and very professional. Las señoras, Ana Castro y Ninfa Garza, cual hacen las comidas, se avientan con el sabor y calidad! De echo asta regresamos por mas ese mismo dia. :) The ladies, Ana Castro y Ninfa Garza, whom make the food, really do a great job when it comes to flavor and quality! As a matter of fact, we went back for more that same day. :) Alondra Villafuerte (cashier) gives you that warmth and welcoming experience any client would appreciate. She makes sure you leave satisfied and with everything you need (such as salsa in our case lol). Alondra Villafuerte (cajera) te da esa bienvenida y buena vibra como experiencia que cualquier cliente apreciaria. Ella se asegura que te vayas satisfecho y con todo lo que necesitas (cual en nuestro caso fue salsa jaja).”

“The fountain drink area was extremely dirty the employee at register did not greet or give any respect towards us as customers. Cashier was sick and wiping her nose and face with hands and touching store merchandise that will be later sold. *update* 2/4 Gave the store a second shot and cashier Ariana cleaned up the last shifts mess. It was clean and welcoming.”

“Gas prices are competitive, with the discount for using their credit card. Receipt paper is usually out at the pumps. Can't always find a squeegee. Restroom is okay.”

“I just want to send out some appreciation for the pharmacy staff at the Walgreens on Tyler… they are always very friendly and patient. Every time I call (must have gotten 3 different ppl just today) they were always willing to help me find a solution. I very much appreciate their hard work and dedication. Excellent customer service!”

“Best gas prices. I went during Biden's address about Russia, and the price was $.40 less per gallon if paying cash. Ppl were lined up and i had to chase someone out of my spot bc you have to go inside and wait for the person in front of you to finish b4 they take your money. So that blows and slows it down. But hey. Let's pray they keep the prices as competitive.”

“I happen to find the pharmacy very time effecient, every pharmacist I've met there has always made it a point to introduce themselves & if I have any questions regarding both over the counter meds & prescription meds- they go out of there way to 1.) make sure you are getting the right medicine. & 2.) you know exactly how to use it & any other questions you might have/come across. The insurance billers are also most helpful & thoughtful.”

“Employees were very helpful. I believe it was Crysral that went above and beyond to help us print our flyers for our lost dog. This was very important for us. We are truly grateful for all of the help.”

“This Redbox is located outside by the entrance to Stripes. It usually has good stock, but I recommend checking online first to make sure it has the movie you want.”

“Love this Walgreens. Always purchase my photos at this location. The only reason I'm not giving the 5th star is because it ALWAYS is under staffed. There is only 1 employee at the register! so if you need photos, you have to wait until there is no one checking out, then the employee will come over to the photo department . Add more staff please!”

“After 2 1/2 years of non-stop travel - 7 months of it now in Texas - and maybe 50 Stripes stores, any more I only bother to write a review if a store has particularly impressed me or aggravated me.Two days in a row now, the young white middle-class managers at the Stripes store just .8 miles from here - at 1313 Haverford - have aggravated me.Yesterday for the very unfriendly way that the manager ran off the property a nice Latino homeless guy with whom I was having a great conversation out in front of the store.Today it was for the very unfriendly way that today’s manager related to my service dog.By contrast, the entire team in this store gave me and my dog a very warm welcome.Herb, the manager, did his duty as he saw it by asking to see documentation that Magic was a service dog. I showed him the service dog collar and the license in my wallet and he became a wonderful host to both of us.Desmond at the counter was especially interested in the dog and appreciative of what a great dog he is.The whole team seemed happy and I liked the casual, relaxed way that Herb was talking and laughing and joking with them. I bet he is a great manager and they all enjoy working here.As an old management consultant and coach, it is a somewhat discouragingly common phenomenon that lots of times people get promoted to management jobs for competence in certain areas (or good political skills)– who have very poor human relationship skills. That was actually the reason I originally shifted from working as a psychologist to becoming a management consultant – seeing how many people were unhappy in their work because of poor management.I bet the people in that other store do not enjoy working for those two young white managers.”
