One of the women in the pharmacy at the 511 E Marshall Longview, TX location on 4/5/24 around 4 o’clock was audibly talking about peoples prescriptions and not being professional. Saying things like “do old people get kids medicine” in front of an elderly gentleman. Then says loud enough for everyone to hear “it’s a medicine that prevents cancer in people’s privates” after a woman signed in for a vaccine appt. Way to announce it to everyone. Super unprofessional. You would think they train for this kind of thing. Don’t even get me started on the wait.

The absolute worst pharmacy in Texas. Don’t let them waste hours of your time only to be told to come back later because they said it was ready but it really wasn’t.

Every pharmacy in town was charging 11dollars for 2 prescriptions. Walgreens refused to transfer the scripts for me and also refused to give me the prescriptions that were in my name. So the only option was to pay them 47 dollars for an 11 dollar order everywhere else. Will never do business with Walgreens again!!

Terrible service at this location (511 E Marshall Avenue, Longview, Texas). I arrived at 1pm to a packed drive thru, which is normal since they are right by a local hospital. Waited in line for half an hour. When I finally got up to the window the woman pulled down the shade and told me they were closing for lunch since it was 1:30. First, it was not 1:30 yet (my phone showed 1:28), and second you should take care of those waiting before you close for lunch. I pointed out to her that I had been waiting in line for half an hour. She just repeated her statement and left. I pulled around, went inside to speak with the manager about the poor customer service I just received. There was nobody at the front of the store. Ended up having to go to the photo center. The only person who had good customer service apologized and went to get a manager. She came back with a man who I am not sure was the manager since his tag only had a name. No help on his part either, as he just said they go to lunch at 1:30 and they had no control over the pharmacy. I asked how he would feel if he waited in line for half an hour and had that happen. He responded he would probably be mad too. I asked if there was someone above him I could speak with. He gave me the 1800 Walgreens number. I called the number and was placed on hold by the automated system. After waiting for 50 minutes to speak with someone it disconnected my call. Been a customer at this location since it opened. This is not the first time I have received this low level of customer service at this location, but this will be the last time as I will take my business elsewhere. Doubt Walgreens even cares since this is the level of customer service they seem to be OK with. Just terrible at every level.

Kilgore Walgreens pharmacy is the worst I have experienced in my many years of dealing with being a Walgreens client. My doctors have had to repeatedly call them with scripts for which they say they did not receive. I put in for refills days before I am out and they will still have me go days without medication before having it ready. Inexcusable for an organ transplant recipient patient! I don't know if the problem lies with management or what, but I know of a number of clients switching pharmacies because of their poor practices.

Great location with friendly staff. I'm from Houston, and needed to fill a prescription while visiting family. I wish the Pharmacies we have in the city could offer this level of customer service. The team here is small, so you may encounter a wait--but this is true of all pharmacies during these busy times. Even though it was only a 3-5 minutes wait while the team assisted customers before me, they showed great empathy by communicating and acknowledging me. Great sign of a kind and well trained staff. Even the store cashiers were nice, and greeted everyone who came in with a sort of friendliness you just don't find other places.
