He remembers my family when we come in from time to time.
The store has what I need in stock and good prices.

I had to return something, and I was in line for only 2 minutes at the customer service desk before I got help.
Before me was a guy who was losing his absolute loving mind over having to wait a mere 15 minutes, claiming his wife was wondering where he was (I don't know about you, but I feel the average dude should be expected to take at least 30 minutes in a hardware store). He was screaming and yelling and making a complete scene. It is frankly embarrassing for us men to see this kind of behavior from a full-grown dude behaving like a 3 year old child.
Brenda kept her calm, was very respectful, but also stood her ground and did not let him intimidate her. The manager came quickly and helped smooth everything over.
The Home Depot customer service team did excellent work today, not only to smooth over a situation that was absolutely ridiculous, but also helping me get my return processed quickly.
Brenda deserves a raise, she's clearly experienced and professional and calm at her tough job.
NOW TO MANAGEMENT: If you all need more information on the situation from an unbiased third party opinion, please respond to this post and I'll gladly provide more details of that silly customer.

The staff are usually courteous and helpful. Not as big as Lowe's be just as efficient on having what I need.

They will not honor marked prices if they stocked the item in the wrong place.

I had ordered a tool set from Milwaukee. When I opened it up and tested everything, the battery charger was not working properly. I boxed everything up and took it to the Longview, Home Depot, fully expecting them to say that it was a Christmas sale item and all they can do is give me my money back.
However, I was pleasantly surprised that Lisa, at the service desk, went out of her way to find a replacement charger in the store and exchanged it for me. That is excellent customer service, and one of the reasons I keep coming back to the store.
I want Lisa’s management to know how good she is. Thank you.

If you order appliances from here, don’t expect them to be delivered on the delivery date.
We ordered a dishwasher, and they called at the very end of the delivery time window and canceled to put it on another day. Then, we ordered a washer and dryer, and the same thing happened again.
When we called to see if there was any other way to get the appliances without rescheduling, they said that they were not any other options.
The customer service representative told us over the phone that their third party delivery company is not very reliable and that she would order from somewhere else.

Greg and I shop Home Depot atleast once a week. We would like to thank your employee named Devonte' for being so kind and helpful. He never fails us. He knows where everything is and he gives 110% of his time helping us. Everything from personally showing us exactly where what we are looking for is, to putting in our cart to loading it in our vehicle. He is so knowledgeable and patient with us. He is absolutely the nicest person we've ever encountered at any store. It is such a pleasure to know he's there when we come into your store!! That young man deserves a huge THANK YOU! Thank you Devonte' for everything you do and for being such a kind soul!! YOU ROCK!! I wish other stores had a Devonte', he literally makes shopping at Home Depot a joy! You're blessed to have him!
