Definitely wouldn’t recommend dropping Milwaukee tools for repair with them. Unless you want them lost, and your calls and messages ignored.

Dropped my m18 fuel hammer drill off here December 22nd to get worked on! I waited 2 weeks ( always heard Milwaukee warranty repair would have your tool done and back to you and sobol welding supply is supposedly a authorized milwaukee repair center) and dennis said he was waiting on parts so i said cool and then i called back 1 week later and he said that the part had arrived and hed fix it that day and call me back to talk about shipping! He never called so i called back 4 days later and he said he had fixed it and he was gonna get it shipped! I waited a week for it to come in and never seen it on informed delivery and now hes saying hes not sure where it is because he cant find his ups book and cant confirm if he shipped it or not but cant find it in the shop and hed call me back when he found it( this was Tuesday)! Now the owners are ignoring my messages i sent to them on here!

I had a Milwaukee M18 drill that was still under warranty. The chuck wasn’t working properly so I saw where Sobol in Longview was listed as a repair center on Milwaukee Tools website. I dropped the drill off with Dennis and had advised it would be covered under warranty. This was mid-October of 2023.I called weekly to see what the status of the repair was and Dennis kept telling me he was waiting on a response from Milwaukee. Dennis later told me he was waiting on a new chuck to be sent from Milwaukee.65 days later, I called Milwaukee and they had no records of Dennis calling and said the repair should have been completed within a few days not weeks.I called again and Dennis tells me he has lost my drill and can’t find it.I called and spoke with Jason the new owner. He said he became the owner on November 1, 2023. Jason said he would get with the old owner to either replace the drill or pay for the cost of a replacement drill. I emailed him the copy of the documentation of when the drill was dropped off. I received no response. Finally, I decided to go in person to see what was going on with my drill.Dennis walks into the back room and comes out with my drill that has not been repaired. The owner, Jason says absolutely nothing to me and I walked out with a drill that was supposedly lost without an explanation or apology.I’ve called Milwaukee Tools and have asked them to remove Sobol from being listed as repair center. This place is an absolute disaster and would not recommend this business for any purchases or repairs.Dennis is an incompetent repairman. Jason was a huge disappointment as the owner of this business and offered no resolution in person. You have been warned! Stay away!

I love it when I walk into a place and can immediately see that it's a small business that has been around for a long time. Randell has the knowledge & inventory u need. Lots of folks go to guy,?

Absolute Worst Experience I've ever had with a repair company. Dropped off my welder for repair. They told me they had to order a part in. After a few months. I called and asked if it was ready they said the part was on back order, and it should be in with in a month. I waited a few month and called again, They said the part would be in within a couple weeks. Called back a few weeks later and they told me the part wasn't going to arrive for another month. I ended up calling Miller my self and they told me they had the part and they had 62 of them. I called Sobol back and they denied that miller had it. Finally got an answer, my part was going to be in within a couple days. Sobol never called to tell me my machine was fixed. Dennis is a joke, and should not be running a repair department. He is unprofessional and lazy. Will never go there again and will advise everyone in the industry to stay as far away as possible.

Fairly priced and variety of supplies they have stock of. They have an old ticket system instead of ringing you up from a computer or a register which is neat. I will continue to come back and hopefully prices will come down on the flux core wire soon. Staff is outstanding and very helpful.

I've never written a negative review in my life until now.6 months ago I dropped my short barrel off to be repaired and was told it will be 1-2 weeks. I called back 3-4 times over the next several months and was told it was set to the side and forgotten the first call. The next calls I was told I'd be called back the same evening for an update to which I never received once.Today I called to let them know I had somebody in town and I was just going to pick it up and take it somewhere else to have it fixed. When they got there it was miraculously repaired and the charge was 66 dollars with no word until they showed up. So now after having to borrow others and eventually buying a replacement they want me to pay... This place is an embarrassment... Unprofessional... Unreliable...

They were really nice but didn't have what I needed and didn't have a way to find it. I was looking for a hard hat speedy loop for my Miller hood
