I love this grocery store! Everyone is so friendly. I was in there this afternoon with my highly rambunctious 7 year old, he was at a level 10 energy level. I am sure my anxiety was showing through. The cashier was so patient with him and asked him to help her check the groceries out. He was so excited. The young man bagging the groceries was even friendly too him.

I went there on5/28/2020. Bought some tomatoes and other things. Got home and started cooking supper and had no tomatoes. Called store and young girl got smart with me. Basically said I was lying and stole tomatoes. Won't go back to a store that doesn't respect their customers.

Usually the people at Skinners have been very friendly. However, today I tried to buy 2 Gals of Distilled water & 2 Gals of spring water. The cashier told me I could only buy a total of two. The sign said there was a limit of two. Someone needs to inform them that they are not the same thing. You can’t drink distilled water. I use it for my CPAP machine. Furthermore, I am disabled & can’t get out much.

Bought a porterhouse steak. Not one to complain but it was 90% uneatable. I cooked it medium but was mostly one if the toughest steakes I've ever attempted to eat. I love the store.....can we do better?

A part of the Lakeport community for 15 + years. Under new management but still the same friendly staff and outstanding butcher shop. It supports our local youth as many high school students work there.
