I was off to a bad morning, running out the door without my coffee, running late, clothes still in the dryer, so half dressed. Had to stop for a texture tool and wait for the money to transfer to my account and while thinking I had to make multiple stops, I was relieved when the employee showed me the coffee station and directed me towards the texture tools they had. I was relieved with the service and timely fashion that had me headed to work with coffee in hand and tools for the job that day. Thank you

I normally go to the usual hardware stores for paint but today I needed Sherwin-Williams colors specifically for a client. I came in to get paint chips and had an exceedingly positive experience. Doug helped me find what I needed for a job, gave pertinent advice about paint selection, and set me up to navigate future paint purchases with ease. Honestly can’t believe I’ve been slumming it at Lowe’s and Home Depot until now. Made a loyal customer out of me in one visit!

I feel like if you aren’t a contractor, you are not important to them as a customer. I was referred here by the Wal St. store because They didn’t have what I needed in stock and sherwin williams seems to give all of its attention to the High St. store. My last visit just about made me switch full on to Valspar. I came in at what I did not know was about ten minutes to closing time on a Saturday. The man at the register seemed annoyed that I existed. I told him I needed a specific SW color in a five gallon size satin sheen. He came out with an Eg-Shel without consulting me about the sheen I had requested. I took it, because I figured it would work for my needs, but my colleague has let me know in certain terms of his dissatisfaction with its quality. It honestly looks like a semi-gloss after I put it on the wall and it shows every flaw. To top it off I also asked about purchasing a gallon of another paint in an oil base. I can get it at my local hardware store, but I was at SW so I figured I would go ahead and get it. When I asked, the associate gave a chuckle followed by a firm “No”. My personal take of that chuckle-No was at its base “No you idiot we obviously dont have that”. My apologies for assuming you ran a high quality paint store! ? I feel pretty burned on this experience. My advice to Sherwin Williams is to give your inventory to the Wal St. Store… they are actually very helpful and courteous.

It's all good as long as you know what you want. Usually the help or even managers dont know "Technical" answers or exact product lines to use correctly.
