This review is for the bakery. I ordered a full sheet cake in advance for a work event. I asked for a design straight out of the Sam's Cake Book. The order was nothing abnormal or difficult. Plain white cake, buttercream icing, and the same design in the book. I had someone picking it up who knew what the cake SHOULD look like because I shared a picture of the design. The cake was ordered 3 days before pick up so there was plenty of time to make sure the cake looked nice. When the cake was picked up, it looked like it was decorated 30 minutes beforehand. It was missing details and had a huge split down the middle of the cake where they joined two half sheet cakes. It did not have the flowers on it that were in the book. It looked tacky. When my coworker pointed this out, there was no apology or any attempt to make it right. No discount of any sort was offered despite the complaints of how the cake looked. The cake tasted okay but the icing was gritty. Very disappointed at the lack of care and attention given and will not do business at this bakery again for any special event. I will not recommend to anyone.

This place is so dirty and disgusting. Corp needs to get in there and get some cleaning done. If and when a Costco comes in to Tyler, I will be out of Sams.

Bought a birthday cake there labeled as white cake with white icing. It was in fact chocolate. Talked to bakery manager but she didn't offer replacement or refund. I will never buy anything from bakery again. Way to ruin a party.

I was very disappointed when I shopped today because almost none of your shoppers wore a mask. The sign outside clearly states the mask must be worn in order to shop. I am never even allowed to enter the store unless I dig out my Sam's membership card before I can even walk through the door, therefore I know you could have done a better job.

Ok this review is about the food before Covid-19. I love and I will say again I loved their pizza and hot dogs and don't get me started on how good the fountain Dr. pepper is is soooo good!! But they really needed to hire someone to do cleaning and stocking condiments. Cause it was always over flow garbage bins and nasty counter where the Condiments was and the fountain machines were either empty or sticky. But dang y'all they had good food and cheap as heck!!!! Now no food because of this dreadful COVID-19!!! I really miss it y'all!! I never thought I would say I miss normal!!!!!!!!! Ok now the store I love it I shop there twice a month sometimes more!!! But I hate that you buy something for awhile there and poof they never sell it again!!!! And open all the registers ok! And the perfume register needs to have some one there!!! I have wanted perfume and cologne and waited and asked for someone to help just to have no one show so I didn't buy any!! But yeah I really miss going in there and eating! Yes I know you can I believe call a pizza in and pick it up but it's just not the same.

Club Pick Up: We recently moved to the Longview area from Fort Worth. I used Club Pick Up every week in FW and rarely had to wait more than five minutes. At the Longview club, you have to go in to pick up your order. I have ordered online for the past three months and there has never been anyone at the pickup desk when I arrive. I usually have to call customer service and request help. I have waited no less than 15 minutes each time I've ordered. This needs to be improved, Longview Sam's Club. It's definitely not up to the Walmart/Sam's normal customer service.

The worst customer service. I have ever experienced. Rick the so called manager is a joke. I purchased gift card for gas pumps. The power had blinked on and off 2 people ahead of me. But registered seemed to not be phased. Went out to pumps. Slid card. It said invalid. Tried again. Then said locked. Went into store a couple ladies tried to help. But said it never went through at register. Called over Rick. Which I am sure is short for Richard which is also Dick . He said I must have pushed a wrong button. I never had chance to pushed a button. Well ok. Here's receipt. Give me my money back. We can't you have to call the 1 800 in 24 hrs and get it turned back on. What it was y'alls error not mine. Not going anymore into our conversation. But Rick definitely needs to be replaced. He has no business being a stock boy here much less manager. Will be taking this up with corporate for sure. He needs to go back to work at McDonald's are somewhere he may be qualified to work.

WHY Sam's Club and Walmart are IRRELEVANT. As you know, I'm not one to be overly emotional or reactionary but this episode tipped the scale. I go into Sam's Club in Longview this evening to spend over $2,500 on a pergola and some patio furniture that was on sale. After pulling the tags, I told a representative I couldn't pick it up tonight because I didn't have access to a vehicle coupled with the fact our electricity has been out for 3 days from the storm. They said I could pick it up tomorrow. I told them that was not possible due to the circumstances but I could get it Monday. Rick, the store manager, at the time told me, "I don't have the holding power." Just when the Walmart empire was starting to slowly win me over (despite constant problems with the grocery online pickup), they finished the deal. I just don't understand the business sense. My relationship with Amazon has never been so frustrating. I really want to like Walmart and Sam's but they keep doing stupid things to alienate their customers. If you feel similarly, feel free to share. Maybe the wheels of public opinion can make an impact?
