They people that work in there will steal
The belonging from people who already don’t have much and need help. They stole a two pair of new jeans I just purchased for someone and when that person asked manager to look at cameras they told him he had to leave and they called police to remove him…. He did absolutely nothing wrong. They need caring helpful people working there not thieves and liars. I wouldn’t recommend this place

WORST HOMELESS SHELTER I'VE EVER BEEN IN, AND IVE BEEN HOMELESS 6 YRS.THE SALVATION ARMY IN CT DOESN'T TREAT THE HOMELESS LIKE THAT. THE STAFF IS HOMELESS!! GIMME A BREAK! THEY'RE FOOD IS A JOKE! IDK WHO THESE PEOPLE THINK THEY ARE BUT THAT PLACE NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN. NOTHING BUT THUGS AND JUNKIES.THEY KICKED ME OUT IN THE COLD..... KNOWING I HAVE CANCER.... JUST BC I COMPLAINED ABOUT TWO PEOPLE'S SNORING HABITS. AND IM SPIRITUALLY DIFFERENT THAN EVERYONE ELSE. AND THEY TARGETED ME. AND THEY GOT INVOLVED IN MY RELATIONSHIP. HIRE REAL PROFESSIONALS!!

These items are given to them. The prices are almost as high as the store. You are not suppose to get rich here. If people had a place to drop off free items for the needy u all would be out of business. Stop trying to get rich off others giving you items free

I will give no stars if I was able to.They advertise on their websiteThat they serve dinner from 6 p.m. till 6:30 p.m.I arrived from Coming a long ways in the heat At 623P.m.I was told that they stop serving at 6:20 and could not receive a meal.This does not show Christianity at all. They are also very rude.What would Jesus do? May GOD bless the hungry and needy.

I would not recommend this place to anyone. Is not true Christianity but power and control. Staff is really rude and will kick a person out for no reason and the cussing towards clients is too much

What a terrific service to the Longview community. I want to put Longview community on notice that we all need to support the Salvation Army financially and with our live and presence. Let our underserved population know that there is a strong support community on Longview for them to rely on

I think the program has good intentions, but the way the LONGVIEW group treats their volunteers leaves a lot to be desired. When my child comes home crying with a heavy heart because her special needs group was told to leave and belittled on the way out is NOT ok and NOT to be supported. Shame on you. We’ll pray for you.
