Recently we were gifted a small aquatic turtle, which we had none of the supplies for. Initially upon entering, I was greeted, and asked if I needed any help. Of course, I'm hard headed and figured I knew exactly what I needed. In any case, my fiance and I walked around for easily close to an hour looking at all of our options, and given that the store was fairly busy at this time and their floor coverage was small, we weren't approached for a while. That being said, when we did need help, the employee we approached was absolutely incredibly helpful and took what time she could to give us advice as new turtle owners.
I could say more, but I'll end here by simply stating: I've gotten nearly everything for both of my cats, my turtle, and even pond ducks at this store. Highly recommend.

Most pet supplies can be found elsewhere for less, but sometimes I still stop in when I need something fast.

They carry most items needed for all sorts of pets. One thing I could not find was dog food above 40lb bags. The 40lb bag options were slim as it was. All in all a good place to find a good assortment of pet care items.

Tried to buy fish from the other place twice. Fish were quarantined. Never had a problem at petco.

Our trip to Petco for puppy paté was disappointing. The store appeared old and poorly maintained, and the staff had difficulty locating what we needed. We managed to find options ourselves, but ultimately decided against purchasing due to the high prices.
