One of the worst managers on earth.
Went to return a $250 product that turned out to be a lemon (didn’t work straight out of the box), and he refused to waive the 20% restocking fee. So we were expected to pay $50 for the right to take the item home and discover it’s broken? Absurd. He was so inconsiderate and wouldn’t even listen, just kept saying “it’s company policy,” yet he admitted that he had the right to waive the fee but was choosing not to. We have frequently supported this store in the past — in fact we have two insider track memberships within the family — but we won’t be coming back ever again. Shame on you, Harbor Freight.
Stick with the big box stores, y’all. You might pay a little more at first, but at least they do the right thing when it comes to it.
