I purchased a 2024 Jetta from them on 9/2/2024 (Labor Day). I traded in my 2023 Subaru BRZ for the Jetta. I owned the Subaru outright, meaning it did not have a lien, and I had the title. Agreed on numbers and finalized the sale. Once the sale was finalized I was owed $1,846.20. A check was not cut at the time of the sale, as I left the title of the Subaru at home. I was told a check would be mailed to me once they received the title. I went home and grabbed the title and took it back up there in less than an hour of the sale. Here we are, NINE days after the sale, and I have yet to receive the check. I just recently sent an email to my salesman and the Finance Manager, and have yet to hear back from them. The only thing I haven't done is gone up there, which is what I shouldn't have to do. Giving them the benefit of the doubt, it is a possibility the check has been lost in the mail. However, that does not constitute for the lack of customer service, as I have yet to receive a response. Any response is better than nothing. I haven't even had an "after sale" follow up call from my salesman to check in. The lack of customer service alone is the reason for my rating. Customer Service is very important to me whether I am buying a car or eating at a restaurant.

Unimpressed cairn the sales group . high pressure tactics . hide your keys tactics . you may go through 3 sakes people . they walk off & give you to guy #2. I bought 3 cars in Tyler.
The parts dept guy acted like he'd rather be elsewhere. I had to wait for 3 mechanics to get finished with the show they were putting on for the clerk to notice she had a customer .
An older lady walked up & sent them.back to work . unprofessional .

Went to Gorman McCracken today looking for a used Mazda. I didn’t purchase anything but Mr Darby was the salesperson and he was very impressive. It was very honest and was not pushy at all. I will come back to check out their used car selection. The only reason I didn’t buy was because the auto was a standard and I was looking for an automatic. Keep up the great work Mr Darby.

I can't recommend these guys enough. I just bought my 3rd vehicle from Gorman McCracken. Salesman Alec Perry went above and beyond to take care of me and my family. Go see him if you're looking for something new. He will take good care of you.

I spent several days looking at multiple cars, at the end of the day it came down to being treated like family. Gorman-McCracken found a way to take care of all my needs (financially, comfort, safety, technology upgrades) and make sure I would be in a good spot in the future as well.
