I have to said just talked to them at the phone for new service I give her the address for the lote she told to ask the neighbor for their address because they need a real address, I told her Google the one I just give you will see the lot and the map she was offended because apparently they don’t have that technology there. It really sounds to me like she didn’t want to take the time to do it any way a bunch of paperwork in person that I had to fill out and I don’t know what to tell you, but I already don’t like that.

Horrible company but only option, cut my electric off almost every month with bill up to date and never sends anyone to turn it back on. I have two children so it’s really an inconvenience.

Sam Houston Electric Coop company has damaged my lot then after sending an employee out who agreed in person that the crew "over cut" onto my property, this company is now denying any wrongdoing. I will not tolerate this type of destruction to my property. You do not care about the landowners in this town and I will not rest until I get resolution and assurance that this will not happen again! My mother is on SHECO and it goes out every time the wind blows!

This company is such a rip-off. I moved out here and got bent over by their rates. Literally double what I paid in the city. They don't allow competitors so they can control the price by their grasp of the monopoly. I can't wait for a class action against them.

They hire contractors to cut dead trees down then leave the mess for the property owner to clean up. I'm in stage 3 cancer and these people don't have the decency to pile it up to be disposed of for me. What has this world come to.

Everyone complaining clearly hasn't dealt with the rip-off of Houston area companies. We love SHECO. We love the prepay option that helps the cost be more manageable vs having one monthly bill. Our cost is much lower than any other company we have ever been with. For a 70s trailer with add-ons, run completely by window units and plug-in heaters, our bill ranges $200-$300 per month, only slightly higher sometimes in extreme temperatures and when we are using four times our normal daily usage hosting holiday cooking. With a family of six, working from home, we are thrilled to only pay this. If you don't want a crazy bill, you have to be conscious of your consumption. We unplug small appliances when not in use and don't leave TV on if nobody's watching. Turn lights and fans off when not in a room. Customer service is excellent, and when outages do occur, they're typically resolved within a few minutes. They have even helped remove an old pole off our property.

Sam Houston sucks it’s expensive with no other options to switch to a different company and they have the most power outages (especially through the dang winter) that I have ever seen in my life! This suck especially when you have a small child and animals to worry about..

Sam Houston Electric is terrible. Power failures once a month are due to their lack of quality equipment (not due to unforeseen forces such as weather). They fail at providing a quality reliable service to their customers. The repair times are also extreme.

George with Sam Houston and the company are great to work with. Upgrading the power to my home to 320amp service and he is coordinating with my electrician to minimize any disruptions and helping to run it the best way possible.

Anytime there is an outage the power is restored very fast whether it’s a downed line caused by a tree or blown transformer. The guys really care. During the winter storm they drove by checking on everyone to make sure power was up. SHECO is the best!!!!

When a monopoly co-op gets bad reviews, and they have them, that ain't good.

I have been with Sheco since 2011. I have NEVER had an issue or complaint. Their estimates on power restoration have ALWAYS been spot on! Love these guys!!!!

Cheap and reliable. When that winter storm came through in 2021 and most of texas lost power, sheco was still running strong, not to mention they gave us a discount for the winter storm, that bill should have been over $400 it was only about $160

When outages happen, they are so quick to respond. Also go above and beyond the call of duty!
