If I could pick zero stars that's what I would pick. This establishment is horrible. Horrible staff and Office Manager. Absolutely no traning in customer service, always so rude and unprofessional. The Vet is not helpful and price gouges every chance she gets. I do not recommend this place at all.

Let me start with I have been to this vet for several years, and until recently (2023) I have been generally happy. The other reviews stating high prices, rude service, and no care attitude are definitely CORRECT. I typically went to this office for routine care and grooming; then when they repeatedly lost their groomer, I started going elsewhere. I was enticed back October 2023 by discounts off grooming, which my dog also needed a cyst removed and to be spayed so I had all this done. Long story short is the entire experience was met with A.) MUCH higher charges, more than double on the grooming with no communication upfront, only at checkout. B) After spending over 1K between the surgery, ear cleaning, anal glands, and grooming for 2 dogs, I have a dog that still has ear issues and anal gland issues, mind you immediately after they were done, and all this office wants to do is KEEP SELLING YOU MORE. "Another ear culture" a week after paying for one and for meds. When I expressed concern with paying for services not resolving issues I was interrupted and talked down too. When I went back to have stitches removed, one had pulled out and my dog had perhaps gave a little chew to the area. I asked if I should bandage and keep it clean and apply antibiotic ointment and let it breathe other times. I was told "Neosporin" isn't going to cut it. You'll need these 2 prescriptions that the desk will go over with you. Desk is like yeah that's 55 bucks. Take this 2 times per day with food (no mention on the special diet they KNOW these dogs are on) and this solution needs to be applied every 12 hours for 10 days and hold it on for 20 minutes with a towel. Essentially every opportunity to sell me something was taken. Well 3 days after this the "Neosporin" that wasn't going to cut it has sealed up the small cut remaining from the stitches. I refused additional treatments and suddenly the following day Animal Control gets an anonymous "tip" that my dogs are left outside with no shelter or water. How interesting???? Anyone in my neighborhood can plainly see the large patio that is in the yard that provides cover, it is unmistakable; so only a frivolous complaint, which is unfounded would make sense. I cant say it was this office for sure...but nothing else makes sense. Stay far far away unless you have money to burn on PURE GREED and Uncaring Capitalism. Furry Friends Per Parlour and Little Elm Pet clinic will continue to get my business. At least they are transparent and things get accomplished with a smile.

Listen to the bad reviews. I gave this vet too many chances and unfortunately, it’s her alone, the reason that I would never recommend her. First off, her prices are way more expensive than most and I would be more than happy to pay if she was a decent person. But no, she’s very rude and condescending. I don’t have children, so my dogs are my children. This vet is less than a mile from my house and I’d rather drive 25 minutes than go to her. She made me feel like the WORST pet owner when I brought in a friend’s dog to help him with his busy schedule. So, my first negative experience with this awful vet was when I brought my boyfriend’s dog in for his yearly. She kept on talking about how his 2 lb weight gain from last year was unacceptable and that she is very unhappy with this change. She made me feel like I should have this dog taken away it was so condescending. This dog had zero health issues and he wasn’t obese by any means. I could not believe how she was talking to me. The vet tech must have had experience with this before, because she mentioned that she didn’t agree with how I was being treated and she couldn’t have been nicer.Fast forward to when my dog got sick and my husband brought her into this vet because it was semi emergent and they were able to get her seen. My dog was diagnosed with diabetes and they started her on insulin. K so, this vet gave me zero information even when I called to find out how to navigate this. She also said there was no reason to buy a glucometer… yeah my dog would be dead if I listened to that. I didn’t listen and ended up buying a pet glucometer and when my dog was acting weird, her sugar ended up still being so high. When I called the vet to let her know and she asked details on how I gave the insulin, I said that I made sure it was a milky consistency. This vet then repeated what I said to a coworker… they laughed.. and then said I must have done something wrong. I was SHOCKED, because I was so worried and almost to treats worried about my dog.YALL… do not go to her… she’s the worst!!!!!!Can’t wait to see the condescending reply by the office. Let’s see how they justify my review, like the other responses I’ve seen. Also, I wouldn’t try to say you don’t know who I am because I received a post card with my dogs information on it this week with both their names and what they needed done.

I taken my dog in to see if, she had ticks or flees. The next thing I knew they gave me a quote of three hundred and some change. However, I tied my dog in the trunk of my car with a belt, for one reason if she had something that was contagious I did not want it to spread through my car. When coming in I just happen to have the belt. The office manager accused me of whooping my dog, said she seen me in the camera, and said she was going to call the police. I did no such thing, and she couldn’t find anything like that on camera. If you of skin color, I advise you to take your dog else where. Karen is racist, and tried to take me off my square. They tried to over charge me as well.

Called this morning when our dog’s health took a very unexpected turn earlier this morning. Completely dismissed our pet’s emergency situation and told us to go somewhere else. Whoever my husband spoke to on the phone was rude and condescending. It caught both of us off guard as you don’t expect that from a care facility, especially when it’s the e vet you’ve used for the past 1.5 years, that knows your dog and her history, and you’re calling about a sensitive and highly emotional situation. Even if you were unable to see her - which when I took our dog there I had to wait for a scheduled appointment due to an “emergency situation” but I digress - there are about a million better ways to handle it than being unprofessional and dismissive. I am dumbfounded. We will be finding a new primary vet ASAP.

On 04/07, this vet injured my (90 lb) Australian Shepherd dog while taking an xray for what I thought could be a limp (at no time did they suggest sedation considering his size and anxiety level). When my dog came back I could immediately smell that his anal glands had been expressed during the xray and he was beyond stressed out. The vet assured me has was ok, never once mentioned anything about what to look out for after the visit. Actually, they said he could need surgery in the next 5 years (later found out that was also incorrect and their xrays were bad becausethey were trying to hold him down). I live FIVE minutes away, use a ramp for my dogs to go in and out of the car ALWAYS, and take very good care of my babies. Within an hour of leaving the vet, my dog could barely put weight on his leg. It was only after I pressed the vet that they told me they had to get rough with my dog during the xrays. Getting ahold of them over the 2 days following that visit was unacceptable. They also prescribed the incorrect dosage for pain meds. Their excuse now is that my dog walked out of the clinic fine but anyone with common sense KNOWS that adrenaline and stress don't allow you to fully feel pain. I took my dog to our old vet who confirmed he had a soft tissue injury. To date I am out of pocket $500...it would be more but I disputed the charges with my bank and they didn't fight it (if they did nothing wrong they surely would have fought the dispute). Now their insurance is saying I don't have enough proof even though I have video evidence of my dog when we got home and a vets diagnosis. The amount of stress we have both been through is indescribable. My mattress has to be on the ground, we can only have 30 minute leash walks and he can't be in the backyard (when it's not so hot) by himself. I will be posting this everywhere I possibly can and contacted the board for vets in Texas. I will not stop until a) we are made whole and b) they are held accountable.

I AM DEVASTATED! UNCARING VET! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. I took my dog in because over the past two days his breathing was labored, he had a dry cough, and he was not eating or drinking. The vet took x-rays and determined he had an enlarged heart and a collapsing trachea. Apparently, this condition is common to smaller breed dogs. The vet gave him two prescriptions, one to stimulate the appetite and the other for his cough and said I'll see you in two weeks. Never did she show any signs of urgency in her voice or concern that I should consider having him euthanized because he might only have a few hours to live. Unfortunately, twelve hours later Sprout passed away. The next morning I contacted the office to inform them about Sprout's passing, and I still have not heard from the vet to offer her condolences or asked what happened. SHAMEFUL!

Dr. Kingkaystone is extremely knowledgeable, compassionate and warm. She takes her time with my two golden retrievers and goes above and beyond during visits and procedures. My oldest golden retriever had a mass removed from his mouth and Dr. Kingkaystone called the next day to check in on him, making sure he was back to his happy self! Every staff member at Veterinary Wellness Center is highly professional and caring. Highly recommend taking your pets here!

I AM DEVASTATED! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THE VETERINARY WELLNESS CENTER OF LITTLE ELM. My dog, Sprout, was not feeling well over the weekend (5/13-14/2023). He wasn't eating or drinking, his breathing was labored and coughing and sneezing. I called to see if I could bring him on Monday, May 15th. We arrived for his 11:00 appointment. The technician took his vitals and asked the reason for the is it. After documenting the what I told her she said the doctor would be in shortly. The doctor came in and listened to his breathing and determined he didn't appear to have fluid in the lungs. She suggested taking an X-ray, and I agreed. After completing the X-ray, she entered the room and pulled up the X-ray and said he has an enlarged heart and a collapsing trachea. She didn't appear to be concerned and there was no urgency in her voice about the condition. She prescribed two medication's; one in liquid form to stimulate his appetite, and the other, in pill form for the coughing. She said I will see you in two weeks. I will have someone call you in a few days to see how Sprout is doing. After arriving home, I gave Sprout the liquid medicine and approximately 20 minutes later, he attempted to eat a little food. He continued to have labored breathing, and laid on my lap, the rest of the day. That evening Sprout was in distress and having difficulty breathing. I did not know what to do so I called the office to see if there was anyone on call, but the phone just rang. Sprout took his last breath at 12:22 AM Tuesday morning May 16th. I wasn't sure what to do with his lifeless body, so I called the office at 8 AM Tuesday morning to let the doctor know Sprout had passed away. One week later, I still have not heard from the doctor's office offering condolences for my loss. If the doctor had informed me that Sprout could only have a few hours left to live, I would have had him euthanized so he would not have had to suffer. Not once did the doctor indicate the seriousness of the condition, or suggest having him euthanized, so he would not have to suffer. No compassion, no concern. MY HEART IS BROKEN! P.S. I did find an amazing company that took excellent care of Sprout, Heavenly Pet Cremations. They are kind, compassionate, caring people, and I highly recommend them.

This place is 10/10. Compassionate, transparent pricing, understanding. If they could keep a groomer consistently employed they’d be 11/10

These guys are great with my pupper, kitties, and always make time for us. They show great concern and care when there are issues and work hard to resolve them so our babies feel better.
